POLICE ISSUE A STATEMENT

I feel bad for the detective who was given the task to investigate Chris's case. Imagine their face when they see decades worth of Chris's history on the internet or when they come to the farms for their investigation. they are in for quite the shit show.
He should feel lucky. The sheer amount of info of Chris stored up over the years would make his job incredibly easy.
We have plenty of people on here and elsewhere investigating him for free.

Personally, the scenario I have painted in my head is this:

An inmate approaches Chris asking to see his paperwork on what he was charged with. The first thing the inmate sees is 'incest with child/grandchild' and then the inmate leaves to share that information with other inmates. Chris gets jumped and the absolute shit is beat out of him because everyone assumes he's a pedophile that fucked a little kid. Chris screaming and crying desperately proclaims "I don't have a kid. I didn't have sex with a kid. I had sex with my mother." The inmates stop, look at each other in utter shock and then proceed to beat him even harder. Chris spends the rest of his days, isolated, known as "that sick, motherfucker."
This. This will happen, its going to be such a dark place for Chris he's going to be in absolute utter fear 24/7. Probably gonna cry at night, then get the fuck beat out of him, gonna cry during the day, get the fuck beat out of him. Ill bet he won't even leave his cell unless he's forced to. People are going to steal his food, I'll bet that sheltered piece of shit probably will be too scared to piss or shit in the toilet.

He's going to have a looking aura of fear and terror over him constantly. Wishing he could be back home actually taking care of his mother, but he fucked that up by raping her. He screwed the fucking pooch this time. He's so fucked.

lol, a literal motherfucker.

He's got a strong insanity case. They'll institutionalize him and attempt to rehabilitate him.
nah he absolutely doesn't. the insanity plea protects the 'morally blameless'. The Virginia insanity plea specifically requires you
1. have a mental defect
2. did not understand the nature, character, and consequences of his or her act; or
3. were unable to distringuish right from wrong; or
4. were unable to resist the impulse to commit the act.

Chris definitely understood the nature and character of his acts. Consequences.... maybe not. Regardless, this particular defense is for people so far gone that the example on Virginia.gov reads as "A common example of how this has been conceptualized might be a defendant who killed their friend by strangulation, but during the act believed that they were actually squeezing an orange. In this example, the individual had no understanding of the nature, character, and consequences of the act given the level of their impairment." Chris was never that far gone.

Chris knew what he did was wrong. That's proven by the fact that he actually hid who Barb was from Null, among other small nuggets of information.

Chris has enough impulse control to not fuck his mother. I don't believe in many things but I definitely believe that. He has proven before he can control his urges. He also describes his acts as very slow and intentional- as if he had to work up to it. If he couldn't control his urges it would've been a violent crime of passion.

Although I agree I'm screencapping this and holding you to your word
While I'm not willing to bet anything, I feel like he'll be institutionalized as well. I personally don't think his condition qualifies him for not guilty by reason of insanity, but I suspect that the defense will argue that his condition in conjunction with the coaxing meets the M'Naghten standard for him not understanding whether his actions were right or wrong. On the flip side of that though, Virginia statutes place the burden of proof for insanity on the defense.
