I find the biggest political distinction centers around Harry Potter. Only the very oldest zoomers are likely to have any childhood memories regarding it, and it's unlikely anything as "big" as "wait in line all night to buy the new Harry Potter book" or "Snape killed Dumbledore" spoilers everywhere. JK Rowling is just some feminist writer woman who joined the evil TERFs and now everything about her must be destroyed to zoomers, while millennials view her as dangerous and misguided but still believe Harry Potter has a lot good to say about it.
This is because zoomers are far more collectivist than millennials, which explains their attraction to radical ideologies like communism (and fascism for the rare le based zoomer). Zoomers worship troons because it's the right thing for a society to do, while millennials worship troons as a celebration of an individual's choice, since millennials are incredibly individualistic. Millennials will do cancel culture because it's the right thing personally for them to do since they're virtue signalling activists, while zoomers will do cancel culture because they want to save the troons and destroy evil fascists. This is why that zoomers were so big into Covidianism and mask-wearing, because they genuinely believe they are saving the world from a virus while a millennial cares more about saving themselves and virtue signalling.
A lot of this goes back to zoomer nihilism. Raised under hyperabundance except for maybe their earliest childhood with the recession, the zoomer sees the world as fundamentally meaningless and seeks to establish meaning for themselves and their world by applying the meaning found in political ideologies to society. This is why for instance that zoomers vote way more than any other group of young people since the 60s/70s. Zoomers get their politics from radical sources like Twitter commies and Breadtube (or /pol/ for le based zoomer), while millennials are the last generation really raised by TV news like Jon "Stewart" Leibowitz, Stephen Colbert, or John Oliver i.e. establishment mouthpieces. The establishment only flirts with communism--zoomers actually are communists who the establishment tries to co-opt.
This applies to right-wing zoomers, who are rarer than right-wingers of any other generation. They additionally have the problem of needing to separate themselves from their peers so will go full fascist, neo-Nazi, trad-monarchist etc. Since fatherlessness is also a greater problem among zoomers than even millennials and zoomers both male and female are not interested in relationships, they need based e-daddies and seek out based content like Nick Fuentes and Andrew Tate.
Totally raised online by over-tolerant parents, neither side has any connection to actual reality, yet has managed to impose their reality on the world through corporations pandering to them.
