Needing a triggered update for every interaction with a post of yours that was so low-effort the person responsible couldn't be bothered to type out a post is worse than reddited.

Taking the squeakiest ITT at their word, even assuming that they aren't rationalizing how they totally aren't obsessing over the parasocial feedback they get on this site, it's really a testament of how people who didn't use the Internet before 2007 have absolutely no idea how to navigate a site without a central feed to click through.

(whom, I would like to reiterate, I am very disappointed in after finding out today he wasn't obsessively getting into slapfights with the conservatards on this site as a wrestling heel gimmick and was actually just super booty-blasted people weren't giving him enough ass-pats) Why cater to people who fill up mod queues with hurt feelings? The notifications were togglable, I'd argue these people you're saying were bullied out of using the forum were the real ones using the site wrong since they apparently didn't know you could turn those notifications off.

It's called those soft skinned retards make up a significant chunk of the site. Stickers aren't important, but people easily perceive them to be. Your anger is proof that they affect you. Including how you post.

The change is already bearing fruit. Look at this thread, everyone giving actual real opinions. Imo, someone hit the nail on the head a few dozen pages back with the fact that this is an embarrassment & dopamine issue when it’s broken down into parts. The information is all still here, the key is that you have to access it differently. It’s already working to make posts more sincere. True & honest good change. Less follow the leader in regards to thought, more independent thinking. Having stickers off removes importance from an arbitrary score to your words. Yes, it feels good to be “approved” with nice feedback, but it’s truly freeing to not even have that as an idea while perusing a forum.
