This thread is a great zoo of the worst of this shit and the dipshit tactics stickers have cultivated. Why actually argue honestly with someone when you can make some lazy effort and be the first to hit their post with an autist sticker to tell your fellow retards which button to click? Why maintain any coherency in your replies to collaborate into a genuine debate when you're winning in sticker count? You really care about reactions so surely hitting the other guy with a hat icon in their notifications will hurt them as much as it'd hurt you.

The biggest obstacle to this isn't the stickers though, it's the fact that we are Kiwi Farms and no one likes each other, and especially autistic people can compare interests if you have obscure ones to find offsite. That's at least why I don't talk much about non-thread topics or in general chat. There's loads of interesting shit I'd love to talk about with the people here, but can't because of that. Why talk about my interests in public? This is Kiwi Farms, it will be used against me, especially if you step out of line and are slightly retarded. Removing stickers won't fix that and it's part of why people retreated to gay DMs

Yeah, I can see the convenience. It would be less efficient but you could 1-on-1 DM everyone who wanted to watch and talk about it on the main thread or a separate thread or something like that. Or @Null could even rework it to something like an email where you can copy people in without making a sekrit thread, I think that'd solve some of the problems without fucking with DMs or stickers.

It wasn't the best system, but it was one of the only ways I found to keep myself from losing youtube accounts. I was getting sick of going out to get a new prepaid sim every other week or more. Using KF PMs kept me from getting flagged until Ralph got too boring to hate-watch.

Hopefully we'll get to see if this mitigates that. If it happens to any extent it's an improvement. I can say that you barely see it in PM chains, that part is true. Yet chainposters are also kiwifarms users? I put it down to that "having a fucking personality" thing I mentioned which stickers disincentivise for the dull.

Well it's unavoidable given we're in a community that focuses on so many overwhelmingly negative topics that receives so much negative attention. I really don't think the stickers were anything to do with that, it's just the stakes of making a retarded post is pretty high if you talk about stuff that can identify you off site. I was never put off by getting negrated, I contribute less because if I irritate any of you or someone offsite I'm sure some marginal opsec slipup I made 100 posts ago that never registered will be used against me if I piss anyone off.
