Love the "my partner is fucking someone else and I was surprised that it pissed me off" that comes up constantly. Like, what the fuck did you expect? I'm sure lying to each other about how it's 'poly' really helps.

I also enjoy how they treat anything resembling monogamous feelings as haram.

I'm still not exactly sure what makes polyamory so sacred to these people. I guess it's the "freedom" and fantasy that you can fuck as many people as you want with no consequences, but then they leap through all these mental hoops to decry their legitimate negative feelings about it. Why is monogamy so terrible that you'd try to kill your desire to be in that sort of relationship with your "anchor partner"?

Personally I just don't understand the point of lying to yourself, but I know that people do it regularly. Doesn't make it any less stupid to watch, though.

It's natural to want to fuck a lot of people (biological drive to propagate the species and all that). It's also natural to NOT want your partner to fuck a lot of people (biological desire for security and instinctive fear of raising someone else's offspring... it's a thing). Both these urges come from basic evolution, but they're completely contradictory unless you want to have a relationship as lopsided as Alison and Jake Rapp. So, you have to make your decision which mindset can bring you and your partner the most comfort. Now, I'm not going to speak for everyone, but I think I'm on solid ground when I say that monogamy introduces the fewest number of complications because it involve the fewest number of potential partners. That doesn't mean monogamy is easy, but it does show why expecting polygamy to be a piece of cake is just plain stupid. You're picking the more complicated option under the misguided notion that being able to fuck a lot would make life easy.
 
One thing I found, at least in the local version of the polyamory group, is they near constantly pull out comparison articles/debates/videos between mono and poly, usually from the PoV of "lawl poly is betta, mono sux". Plenty of posters pulling the "my partner wants to be mono, wut do?" thing as well
 
God, I almost forgot this group still existed after the cripplefuhrer was unseated. Did they admin him again? Also, I am totally not surprised at jealousy cropping up, I have no idea how they are. Do they feel like they're magical beings who have transcended basic human evolution and behavior?

basically instead of tons of hot sex with attractive young people it's just a bunch of obese creepers

every single "poly" person in these caps is fat or a tranny or has some kind of obvious mental issue

They're "poly" because they're so gross and creepy and obviously unfit that they can't have a relationship with even a single person and think that, somehow, they'll make this better by trying to have multiple relationships with multiple people. The logic eludes me.
