My very favorite version of these people is the guy who needles and nags his wife into it, because he thinks he will be drowning in some specific pussy. Then, by the time he realizes that he didn't actually have a "connection" with that woman at work, his wife has banged 3 dudes, all of whom orbit constantly, and idiot husband posts his extreme anger and hurt in r/relationships, only to have 3000 strangers accurately tell him he's a fool who brought it upon himself. Happens once or twice a year.

At least he's not Anthony Burch....wait..

The self-cucker...amazing!

On that note, what other varieties of poly people are there?
  • the bisexual, or 'bisexual' chick who's been with the same man since 19 and ugh wants to have lesbian sex SO BAD
  • the middle aged man who's tired of his wife because she's not 19 anymore
  • the 36 year old boring mom who's desperately trying to cling to her youth
  • the guy with complete disregard for women's feelings who just wants to sleep around but also have someone to listen to him whine
  • the person with no self-esteem or self-worth who gets taken advantage of

  • Bug chasers

Source? I usually think of bug chasing as 1) a gay male thing, who while I guess could be technically poly, they aren't r/polyamory poly, and 2) something that is mostly nonexistent in 2017. Feel free to horrify me by quoting some extremely long post about this, though.

Bug chasing definitely still exists. Buddy of mine got a biohazard symbol tattooed because he thought it looked cool. Before he knew it he was getting lots and lots of gay men hitting on him.

I can't believe anyone looking at that community would even consider poly after the sorts of stories though. Well... any intelligent person anyway. They all come off as gullible, naive, selfish, emotionally stunted people. I wouldn't want to be friends with them, let alone have sex with any them. Unless I was a predatory sociopath looking for something to do in my spare time of dumping bodies in the river.

Well many of them, men and women, are predatory sociopaths. You'd think they'd be smart enough to see the warning signs but no it's always "it'll never happen to us, we're too close, we're smarter than these other poly couples" and so on and then it always ends exactly the same.

One trend I notice these days is the louder a woman crows about being sexually open-minded, the more vindictive and screechy they are about failed relationships and D.O.A. non-relationships.
Sense of entitlement because she's putting out?

Jesus fuck, that first one. Major props to the daughter in immediately taking serious steps to free herself from these two degenerates' care.

"It was wrong on his part, I am against hitting children, but I do understand him."

Uhhhh, what the fuck? Any person would be reasonably freaked out by their parents fucking someone they haven't met and assume they're cheating. Doubly so when something like this is treated by one of them as something worth hitting their own kid over.

I know one of these guys. A girl I was good friends with in all through high school had a boyfriend that pulled that. They'd been together since they were about 12. We were all around 22 when he began bugging her to open the relationship. I couldn't believe it, because she was an absolute drop-dead gorgeous cosplay chick, and he was this chubby Jonah Hill looking fucker that was every bit as weeby as her and had basically hit a once-in-a-lifetime jackpot with her. They were each the only person the other had ever been with. I never knew him all that well but from all I heard they seemed perfect for each other.

Turns out he had his eye on some fat, broody emo girl from his work and wanted to try bringing her into their relationship. Cosplay chick isn't into that. She's not into girls. At all. He's driving her nuts talking about emo girl all the time. Tells her "fine, we'll technically be together, I'll go after emo chick, you can fuck your guy friend if you like."

She sees no point in reasoning with him, so she goes along with it to make him happy. Almost instantly, she's getting railed multiple times a day. He gets shot down by the emo girl, and has absolutely no luck with any others either. Last I knew, he'd trooned out and was living as a barely passable fat blonde in another state.

Jesus Christ is, that first one. It's terrible enough that the dad clocked the daughter, and the mom didn't care. If you tried to write a fictional story as told by an unreliable narrator, you couldn't be as blatant. That kid comes dead last. If she called both before going home, she probably needed a ride, and called multiple times before giving up. I wonder how often she needed something, but couldn't get in touch with either parent because they both turn off their phones the whole time they're whoring around. Probably fairly often.(:_(
