I wonder what the cross-over is with polyfags and how it seems so many aspects of Current Year are designed to be digested quickly, easily, and superficially, and then tossed away as quickly as they arrived. Planned obsolescence baked into devices, news, food, vidya - rapid hits of dopamine followed by lows, and then onto the next hit, forgetting about the preceding event. Rinse and repeat. Why wouldn't someone who can't finish a single newspaper story, 23 minute TV show or conversation without checking their phone fifteen times be in a similar position with romantic relationships?
Children are the ultimate narc fix. The ultimate "cucked spouse" that doesn't leave (usually because they cant until a certain age and many don't when they reach that age either because they have been brainwashed or ended up like many of the cows here). Man that comic makes the main character look delusional. I don't mean because of anything do with poly or kiwi farms' general position on the subject, just the storytelling is so crap that the intended message gets corrupted. Ignoring normal looking people trying to reach you while everything is pink, sparkles, flowers, princess dresses and she is repeating the same sentence. Yeah that makes her look like she trying to ingnore reality rather than just being happy despite others not approving. Ending the comic on a smug thought stopping clishe isn't helping.
Tbh shw generally has a very preachy tone that does get on my nerves and tbh i can't wait for the inevitable break up soon enough.

I think I wrote about this in another thread or this one but it's this juvenile attempt to visually sugar-coat something most people inherently know is deviant. Thus you end up with CalArts-tier stephen universe/scott pilgrim rejects in saccharine colour tones trying to convince mostly themselves that looking inwards and examining what it is about you society is so repulsed by should be ignored in favour of looking at the cartoon characters the schlubby loser your husband is banging permanently etched on her skin.
I've seen poly work in my extended social circle, but only in closed systems where essentially everyone has a relationship, or you have a man with two wives.
