My worthless armchair analysis is that the wife is gay, was pressured by her family into trying to be straight, and now her dumb clueless husband opened the closet door and she's not going to go back in or back to dick.

A lot of insecure white people have been basically psy-opped into thinking that having children is bad. Reddit, Tumblr and Twitter have been a scourge for this. You can't have any heckin' kids, Gretta Thunberg, AOC, and Al Gore said it's causing global warming! (But only when poor people do it, elites are allowed to have all the kids they want, and can have private jets, too.)

Polyamorous relationships lead to unhealthy mindsets, emotional abuse, and get in the way of having children. A loving nuclear family is impossible, as we already saw in that one case where the girl had a baby and one of her boyfriends beat it and broke the baby's ribs out of jealousy.

Also a lot of these fat, ugly, white people seem to be just the nastiest most negative human beings around. They're fat for a reason (lazy) and they do bizarre things with their appearances in a desperation to be unique, because they just hate themselves. No one wants to commit to them for real, so they go for whoring and poly.

I wish I could be horrified at the polys as it dawns on them that they've irreversibly fucked up their lives but honestly it's hilarious.

Even when pushed to breaking point they show no threat, they don't have a shred of testostrone in them to go shoot up somewhere so they'll just copepost on leddit.
 
"You deserve two boyfriends" is up there with "I'm actually a lesbian" in terms of predatorial behavior when you're initially cockblocked a seduction attempt.
 
It's a whole lot of flowery language that ultimately means nothing.

Also none of the people drawn in that comic look like they are depicted as I refuse to believe anyone involved in poly weigh less than 300 pounds

The way everyone in the comments is tripping over themselves to validate the fake bisexuals haha my sides hurt. It's all 'it's because of the gender binary!' 'Maybe she's a demiromantic/grey ace/whatever!'

No, these are the women who will make out with a girl at a party for male attention, but are not actually same-sex attracted. It is such a known cultural phenomenon, and no one is brave enough to point out the obvious (or maybe they're just downvoted to the bottom).

They can't acknowledge that a lot of poly scenarios are the product of one partner coercing the other into bringing in a third, because then they might have to confront that they themselves are either emotional abusers, or have deluded themselves into being okay being treated like crap.

These people are so broken, and I think this has become my favorite thread on the site.

the mix is usually one patological manipulator with cluster b traits and then a few emotionally broken partners with self esteem in the negative digits who might only be seeing it as their only possible strategy to get a semblance of affection. And mountains and mountains of cope
 
Wouldn't it be quicker to just skip straight to the murder suicide instead of spending a few years building resentment while trying and failing to sleep around with other people?
