Facebook alt-texts its emoticons very helpfully already so these fuckers are definitely wasting blind peoples time even more. They want to help blind people SO MUCH they couldn't do a five minute google search that a simple cyberbully/troll/shitlord can do and instead force everyone to blatantly waste blind peoples timearticle said:
- Screen readers will read the alternative text of images, if alt text is present. JAWS precedes the alternative text with the word "graphic." If the image is a link, JAWS precedes the alternative text with "graphic link."
So, you're supposed to describe pictures and emojis because it's hard for blind people to see them, but you have no obligation to actually write correct text in the way it was intended to be written so that people reading it can understand?https://kiwifarms.net/attachments/upload_2015-9-22_9-6-24-png.50032/
Did she ever stop to think that maybe he has a learning disability too, and that's why he needs to see proper punctuation use in online text?

So a massive textwall with little punctuation would be annoying as fuck to hear for visually impaired people. And on top of that every single emoticon is described twice. Lolaccessibility article said:

- Screen readers generally pause at the end of paragraphs.
You know what else must be annoying as hell for people with screen reaaders? Those long florid descriptions they make. Also from my earlier link

Wait - would the average screenreader even know what to do when it ran into a neopronoun like 'xir'? Never mind things like 'folx' and 'Latnin@'. I have absolutely no experience with accessibility outside of a learning disability setting and I've really got to wonder how a program designed to handle written English would cope with the ludicrous alphabet soup that the average SJW spews all over the Internet. Maybe they're smart enough to take these things in stride, but shouldn't a group that is so amazingly committed to accessibility that they needlessly describe their emoticons at least attempt to communicate in clear English? The average cishet shitlord writing a Government publication can, so what excuse do our SJW overlords have?I'm sure a blind person doesn't care much about your selfies, and even less about sitting through a paragraph where you describe "me, a fat white genderqueer nonbinary individual with side-swept purple hair and facial piercings, wearing glitter eyeshadow, a moustache and a teal flannel shirt over a Captain America T-shirt, gazing mournfully over xir left shoulder [...]"
I just tried it with Chromevox, it pronounced "X-I-R", "F-O-L-X", "Latnin-at". I'm sure Chromevox is a white cishet shitlord though.Wait - would the average screenreader even know what to do when it ran into a neopronoun like 'xir'? Never mind things like 'folx' and 'Latnin@'. Well, Kyle LOVES complaining about manufactured microaggressions and LOVES calling attention to his physical disabilities and most of all LOVES getting ass-pats. Perfect, non-problematic #polyamory!a woman can't post about TRUE and HONEST STRAIGHT SEX in a group about sex but Kyle can bitch about a headache for days![]()
how did you get that glow effect on your avatar picture's eyeballs?
@lindsayfan, how did you get that glow effect on your avatar picture's eyeballs? *waits patiently to find out if you have enough spoons, concealed smirk face*
) the mods don't know or care that Sheri Winston runs the Center for Intimate Arts, and has written numerous books and hosts seminars and talks on sexuality. Their mission statement is "Provide empowering, enriching, enlightening and entertaining erotic education for everyone. You can think of it as 'Sex Ed for Grown-Ups!'" I'm sure this successful and intelligent woman wants to be scolded for saying "female orgasm"
People like these doofuses actually resent the hell out of anyone who is qualified to talk about sexuality. It's the same mindset as the idiots who believe in self-diagnosis over the opinions of medical professionals.
