A very clever and unique game that's half logic puzzles and half platforming, it has a really dark atmosphere and yet the writing is really funny and witty.

Also the third boss, asmodeus.exe, is probably one of my favorite bosses in any video game. He's probably the funniest part of the whole game.

The game's only $5, I'd honestly pay twice that much for it. It's about 2 hours long and it's a heck of a ride.

Instead you got some rather dark and weird autism still involving ponies.

It's definitely... interesting.

The funny thing is that it gets the most unsettling when it actually tries to keep up the "cutesy" facade after the second Core File. But the quotes on the Steam page really don't help because they really oversell how "OMG SO SPOOPY" the game actually is.

Asmodeus is definitely the most interesting thing in the whole game, but when you forget to adjust the resolution like I did, its "fake Steam messages" gimmick doesn't work as well as intended...

Yeah people really like to oversell how spooky it is. I adore the dark and gritty atmosphere, but, it's not spooky or scary at all. It's an artistic direction, because you're trapped in an arcade machine fighting for your soul. It's part of the plot, that's all. Most steam users aren't smart enough to understand that and are just looking for the next Slender.

I actually thought the "cutesy" part was hilarious, especially how they retextured the programming logic puzzle and called it a "puzzle break!"

Looks like a badly written creepypasta that you play.

Definitely looks like it, but it's actually full of humor. The main antagonist is basically a bad indie dev and you have to fix all his bugs.

People are actually calling it GOTY already.

Might getting it soon since it's pretty interesting after watching a few vids about it. I liked the puzzle parts and the concept of an arcade machine is fascinating.

I was rather disappointed with the ending, I just felt that it left like it left things very inconclusive, and it overall felt all over the place, not really spooky, just rather corny.

Agreed. Kinda reminded me of Portal 2, but, yeah there definitely could have been more.

Also getting all the tickets is horrible. Trying not to kill jesus took me half an hour. I don't know how many times I died. I had to run my hand under some hot and cold water due to onset carpal tunnel syndrome. I don't know if the dev just didn't playtest that part or if he's especially masochistic, but jesus is probably the hardest unofficial optional boss of the game.
