Europe's air traffic control network has warned commercial aircraft to avoid Syrian airspace due to a possible strike being planned in the next 72 hours.

DEFCON has been lowered to 4 over reports of military amassing air forces and the potential risks of a Russia vs. U.S. conflict.

Supposedly the British RAF is on alert in Cyprus.

There's also unconfirmed reports of the U.S. moving missile cruisers around in the Mediterranean and aircraft in Eastern Iraq.

Jesus fucking Christ. The beehive is already furious and he just runs right up center field, wheels his leg back, and kicks it square in the dick. This is the most-ballsy game of Chicken I've ever seen in my life, I am fucking speechless.

I'm very quickly going from liking the guy to voting against him for the purpose of accelerationism. This is far beyond what he said he would do considering the "america first" policy when it came to foreign affairs. At least Hillary would've already started WW3 for the benefit of her arms manufacturer bribers so we'd already have a civil uprising.

Also, for a guy that keeps pointing out how full of shit the mainstream media is he sure does keep acting in ways that make it seem like he gives a fuck what their opinions are. I'm getting a bit more than sick of seeing him acting as if though the american public gives a fuck what the pundits on these channels that he constantly points out are full of shit (and he's not wrong on that) when he ought to know better than that. If he mounts some kind of attack on Syria he can kiss his second term goodbye, which is why (feel free to rate me :optimistic:) I don't think he's actually going to do anything. If he does, he's a straight up exceptional individual that doesn't understand that he needs to stick to the platform he fucking ran on.

I find the idea of a vote in parliament to be interesting. They voted on intervention back when France was pushing for it and the Obama-era US government was seemingly willing to go along. The vote failed and the other countries backed off because of it.

That said, there's a lot of difference between France and the US toppling a government without Britain and France and the US launching a cruise missile attack without one.

"Hello, I'm suddenly announcing all of my plans on an open, public forum for everybody to see."

Wait for it.
This is a turning point; just remember how bad the tensions were with North Korea. We've been here before, and this isn't just a line in the sand, this is an enormous chasm. We're hurtling towards a defining moment in this entire ordeal. People have been joking and meme'ing about it for ages now, but this is the fucking storm.

I never even vote based on their promises anymore, only on track record.

Not that it matters if WW3 is starting.

Well if we're being fair, I doubt anyone would want to re-vote for any of the leaders invovled (except for Russia, because they have no choice in the matter) if they pull this off.

It'd just be a matter of who'll go first- Trump, May or Macron.
