It's gotten to an insane point where the teamspeak server for ZF is blocked because at one point it redirected to a porn site because funny stuff and jokes. Even though this hasn't been the case for literal years, it still got blocked when this new system came in.

So far from what I've heard, this bullshit system blocks anything related to proxys or networks. it might've also blocked TOR, though I'm not sure if it completely stopped TOR or it just won't let you visit any sites that contain TOR to download. Anyone who currently lives in cuntland, those with experience, or anyone else that can help, I need help with this. I'm not even sure you can visit this site if you're from asshole country either

What system? Are you using Virgin?

It works on my end even on public wi-fi networks

PIA with Cloudflare DNS. It's cheap and effective. I pay $60/2yr.

What about ProtonVPN? ( https://protonvpn.com/ ) Recommending this since I already use ProtonMail and trust the service they provide, unlike Google, Gmail etc. selling personal info to advertisers.

Apologies if this is dumb to ask, but I heard from a friend in the UK that people are handing out TOR on USB's like a black market of sorts. He knows a few people doing this around his local area. Has this become a common thing?

I mean, I guess the best way to get around that shit is to use an expensive (or at lest not free) VPN service because all the most commonly used ones will likely be blocked.
I've had luck with Private Internet Access.

How are they going to specifically identify which VPN traffic has a point of origin in the UK?

Unless they attempt to regulate VPN's, which undoubtedly is coming at some point, or porn sites universally block listed VPN connections globally (which they wont) they should work fine.

I didn't necessarily mean it will be blocked based on the country, but the VPN I used has nearly all the IP addresses I've tried being blocked from 4chan. I'm guessing because my VPN, while good, is pretty cheap, and some assholes were trying to get around bans.

Also, Netflix seems to recognize most of the IP addresses I've used as well. It's really a game of luck to find an appropriate IP address they don't know about so I can unlock region-based content.

If the Islamotranny Morality Police catch you with an unloicensed USB stick they'll sodomise you ruthlessly with their rainbow truncheons and take you to prison where you'll have to watch propaganda for the rest of your life.

Never (EVER) take a drive from someone you don't know well, doubly so if this supposedly contains software generally used to obscure your activity.

It's a lot easier to give people compromised software then it is to comprise people's software

Was thinking the same. Better to get it from the original source than someones PC filled with viruses they don't bother to get rid of. Hopefully my friend doesn't get fucked over doing this.

I didn't think the porn ban was in place until July? I don't have my own PC right now so don't have a VPN but I've had no problems accessing any site as of yet (not that the ban isn't fucking ridiculous).

Although my Netflix did start to recognise my VPN's pretty quickly when I last had one set up.

PIA works great for me and I got up to ~80Mbits/s on their servers on the same conuntry and never had a problem connecting, pro tip, if you cannot connect to a VPN you should probabilly not use this connection.
