For all the shit I've talk about Enter and his dumb "opinions". I think I say for all that he's otherwise pretty harmless and I won't miss the subforum for an instant.
But yeah, AJ and 03bgood are prime candidates to be talked about. But unless we can get some dirt on more notorious ones, I think we can leave (most of) the Cartoon Spergs be.

I don't think he's otherwise pretty harmless. Remember that he's a very influential reviewer. When he called "Ren Seeks Help" one of the worst cartoons ever made, his fans repeated that opinion to death. When he called Casey Alexander a horrible person, his fans harassed him on Twitter for nine months.
Frankly, somebody that influential and that lolcowish deserves a thread, in my opinion. (Besides, I have a feeling - based on some of the last posts in that subforum - something may be happening very soon.)

And what are they going to do to him other than twitter harassment? That seems like something Casey Alexander could easily fix if he just got off twitter compared to Vade who had a similar fanbase but was responsible for multiple people hurting themselves and one dude actually killing himself. Mr. Enter's fans are a bunch of dumb kids who will grow up and they're just sending stupid shit to the twitter of a writer for a miniature pastel colored horse cartoon. If this actually threatens Casey Alexander than maybe HE needs a thread.

I said his fanbase will grow out of the cult like mentality. He's not dangerous because he's some guy living in his grandparents house who has like 7000 preteen fans. Death threats are something every single person on the internet gets at some point if their name is remotely 'famous'. If it were actually a big deal you think Casey would stop writing MLP or something. Tell me, what is the worst that Enter's fans will do to him?

It was created because there was suddenly a shitload of people who showed up here when we made a thread about him specifically and Null thought it would be nice to accomadate them. Not because of Enter himself. I do think he's completely harmless.

I don't think it's a question of whether or not Enter's a lolcow. I think it's a question of whether or not he's worth fighting for a subforum for.
Kiwi Farms is about watching lolcows, but not every single lolcow in the world deserves a thread. The way the Entersphere forums went south are a testament to that point.

There are lolcows here where I've seen way more interesting drama and content than all the stuff that happened in the Enter subforum combined that never got their own subforum either. The point is that unless the circumstances really warrant a subforum or there are many many threads centered around a theme in which they can be grouped together that way, I think it's usually unnecessary to go around making subforums just because a lot of people are talking about a particular lolcow. Looking back, the way this all went down turned out to be quite a farce.

Enter himself had absolutely nothing to do with getting his own sub-forum and you can ask pretty much anyone else. I did view the thread so don't accuse me of that. You seem to think he's some deranged and dangerous cult leader who lives in his Grandma's basement and is worthy of an entire subforum but despite having one for a few months he never did anything to prove to the vast majority of users on this site that he was in fact worthy of that much coverage. He got a thread cause sure he's a sperg, but he got a subforum because of the sheer number of people who showed up to discuss him. It was more like we wanted a better controlled area where we could mark all the Enter Posters with little Stars of David if you catch my drift.
