Penny Arcade's been around since 1998, never going on hiatus (afaik), and after a quarter century, they have made countless comics. Unfortunately most of them are terrible, so let's post literally everything worthwhile that ever came out of Penny Arcade. I'll start:

For what it's worth, they were made aware of the bald/pig-like edits and didn't get mad or passive-aggressive about it. Maybe today would be a different story.

lmao i used to love this comic as a teenager but I stopped reading it like 14 years ago because it became a lame dad comic and haven't thought about it or even realized it still existed until I saw this thread. Naturally, this led to an autistic catch up to where it is currently and JESUS FUCK THE ART IS HIDEOUS NOW. Doing some exploration into this phenomenon and I found this thread that is a decade old but has been updated pretty continuously documenting the artistic decline. Just keep scrolling down. At this point the artist one might as well be considered an artcow.

Anyway, to answer the point of the thread, the thing I will always remember as making me laugh was the four or five panel connected strips that told the story of "The Song of the Sorcelator" which was clearly meant to a piss take of that hack writer R A Salvatore. This is the one thing from that comic that makes me actually laugh to remember.

i liked the swolder with generic rage one. actually i also liked the cardboard tube samurai and purely for pissing people off the dickwolves one. also one of them annoying harlan ellison by calling him a star wars guy was really funny

The games were alright, first two had alright graphics. The later two had meh pixel art but I did like that the fourth one was some sort of Pokemon style game rather than traditional rpg. The plot was a mess that felt like something Linkara would write.

Beyond that it's all very weak takes.

I thought this one was kind of funny back in 2010. Looking back at it now, holy Christ is it low effort even by Penny Arcade standards.

I want to say there was some article they posted either before or during GamerGate that angered game journos, but I don't remember what it was so it can't have been that good.

The games were alright

I remember people really liking Rain Slicked Precipice of Darkness episode 1. I don't know if the other episodes were ever released as I didn't hear anything about them after that.
