Didn't we just get rid of the black hat that was A-log?
A-Log used to cover trollshielding."Trollshielding" rating though.
As far as repetitive posts go, really, most of the talk in Lolcow updates is redundancy, people usually don't really say a whole lot of original things(since most of the responses are humorous/jokes) and it's fine as long as it doesn't go overboard. I don't personally like the Nick thread for this reason but I understand that people want to get it off their chests : the asshole is finally in prison. When redundancy starts being a problem(i.e Chris or Nick prison rape jokes) then the moderation will usually issue an edict and say that yeah, it's enough already. Here's an idea: a Redundent rating.
Here's an idea: a Redundent rating.
Make it look like a ouroborus (snake eating it's tail) or something along those lines.
The idea would be that it's to cut back on the number of repetitive posts (Nick Bates gonna get raped lol). It could either be negative (to make people take it more seriously) or neutral (so that people are more likely to use it)
I'm pretty sure "late" covers that. Here's an idea: a Redundent rating.

But isn't that white knighting?A-Log used to cover trollshielding.
Trollshielding isn't white knighting. But isn't that white knighting?
"Troll shielding" is the act of attempting to evade being trolled by becoming a member of a trolling organization. Typically, those who manage to obtain shielding spend their second lives as trolls contributing nothing to the cause, and continue to do what they did before convincing their new buddies that they've "changed their ways".
> on the internet
> at Ruckersville, Virginia
> Chris does it for free
> Chris takes his “job” very seriously
> Chris does it because it is the only amount of power & control he will ever have in his pathetic life
> Chris deletes videos he doesn’t like because whenever he gets upset he shits his pants and does nothing
> Chris deletes videos he doesn’t like because they interfere with the large backlog of childrens cartoons he still has to watch
> Chris will never have a real job
> Chris will never move out of his parent’s house
> Chris will never be at a healthy weight
> Chris will never know how to cook anything besides a hot pocket
> Chris will never have a girlfriend
> Chris will never have any friends
I think the problem with the A-log rating is that most people don't know what it means. Keep it on the Chris board though (maybe not Sonichu)Can we have the A-Log rating back? At least just for the Chris forums since Anthony LoGatto was particular to Chris?
Yeah but the staff put that big explanation of it up on the main page a couple of days ago, and I think, as you note, misunderstood use will be minimized if it's confined to the Chris board since there's a better chance that the readers there are more versed in Christorical lingo.I think the problem with the A-log rating is that most people don't know what it means. Keep it on the Chris board though (maybe not Sonichu)
People would use it as a "super dumb" or something. I personally liked having the rating, although I rarely used it, but I honestly believe that only a fraction of the posts rated in that way were actually any sort of a-logging. Dumb people are why we can't have nice things.I think the problem with the A-log rating is that most people don't know what it means. Keep it on the Chris board though (maybe not Sonichu)
I think "autistic" would cover thatWe need a "confused" rating for when someone either uses bad spelling and grammar, or doesn't make any sense at all.
