I honestly don't like the new way that ratings are displayed at the bottom of posts, where the format is
[top 3 ratings in order] [user1], [user2], [user3] and [x] others because it always feels like there's less ratings on a post than there actually are this way.
I prefer the old type, where it was
[rating] x[number given] for everything anyone has done and you could click and see whodunit.
It makes it easier to tell at a glance what the general consensus on a post is because if there is a smaller proportion of other ratings in the new system they won't even show up. Also I honestly feel like it's funnier to have a three-car pileup of ratings at the bottom of everything. I have my alerts for ratings off so if I want to see how a post is doing I'd always rely on scrolling by it and taking a look.
I know you can just click on it to get a more detailed breakdown but that strikes me as more inconvenient than anything.
Finally, I do believe that an oxford comma is needed when listing the users who've reacted to a post, because many users here have multiple words with spaces in their username which occasionally contain the word "and", which I believe can lead to confusion when reading.
Like, is it two users named "Recon" and "Positron" who rated a post, or one user with the name "Recon and Positron"? Is it one user called "Peace and Harmony" who rated this or two users named "Peace" and "Harmony"?
It sounds dumb but people have some autist usernames on this site and if I didn't know any better I'd get confused by it sometimes, too.
Idk I tried to just live with the new system for a long time but it still bugs me.
It's not a super huge issue but there you are.
