The rarity of use is the main reason I'd like them color coded, tbh.

First, thanks for your work on this, @PsychoNerd054, BlueSpark. The one thing I like most about these SVG images is that they seem to have eliminated the bug on one's reaction page where one would see part of a second unrelated rating or an image that didn't always correspond to the rating that was received.

I also like the green "beverage" inside the glass for Drink.

My feedback:
  • Feels would look better with more of a pink tone instead of the current bright red.
  • Informative might look better with a navy blue background to distinguish it from Like.
  • Dislike should have a different shade of blue than Like/Informative, or perhaps no background color at all for dislike.
  • The blue band on the Mad at the Internet top hat seems out of place after seeing ALog himself wearing a plain top hat. If this was done to make the brim stick out, perhaps gray as someone else suggested might work better.

Just make them flesh colored like the old ratings (without encasing them into a circle).

Also, DRINK! looks off to me. Why is it green? It being next to Islamic Content makes me think that some kebab spiked my drink with some antifreeze. Aren't martinis clear colored? Adding an olive like someone suggested before would improve it further.

Autism, I don't like how it's rotated. I much prefer how the original looked. Here, it's a recreation of the old one:

The rotation is like 5 degrees at most, it's much easier to tell what's going on.

Semper Fidelis needs to be shinier... looks kinda washed out.

Islamic Content looks... not the right shade of green. Needs to be dark green.

I kinda dig the Winner icon, but the star needs to stand out more. By either contrasting its color more or shaping the medal like a star entirely (like the old icon).

The one I don't really like at all is the "Dumb" rating... the trashcan... looks cheap. Needs a bit more depth.

The main criticism I have of the ratings is that they look like they were made by / for a corporation. They're just so clean, unified, soulless. They look kinda like what a committee after hours of meetings decide that they should look like.

I can't really describe why, but winner, islam, autistic, dumb and mad at the internet all seem off to me.

Winner looks like a participation prize; a neutered version of wanting to say that something is excellent.
Islam looks weird with such a large shapefilling star, never seen the symbol like that before. Even the ancient star and crescent that the ottoman flag was based on doesn't have that big a star:

Autistic just seems kinda nice now, when most of the time it isn't meant that way.

Dumb looks dumb, in the wrong way.

Mad at the internet looks like you're trying to say someone is a hat-tipper even though it isn't exactly a fedora. I think the expletive just works far better and is more cutting at a visceral level.

  • Like someone else said, blue/orange for Like/Dislike. The knuckles don't bother me.
  • Make the star in Winner stick out. Probably just need to brighten the inner part while darkening the outline
  • Invert the colors for Informative, and/or change the font (I like Courier New in this case). This is another rating I'm neutral on.
  • Make Feels lighter/pinker
  • The liquid in Drink a brighter yellow/green, or make the glass whiter
Everything else is fine and I like the changes overall. Good job!

The gradient legitimately makes the icons look like cheap ass stickers for preschoolers. Also, is it possible to keep the colors a closer saturation/brightness to the colors on the rest of the site? The completely saturated colors stick out weirdly to the more muted site theme/
