Should we have a fish hook rating?

You either got the point I was making or you didn't. I could write it all out here, but it would be a waste of time. You would all say tl:dr or that I was pretending to be retarded.

I honestly think removing the ratings will accomplish very little. I think keeping them simply saves posts, but people think it makes us all too much like @Cucky . If you are going to get rid of them get rid of all of them, don't be half-assed about it.

I personally think they are a symptom of a much broader problem that makes this forum very trollable.

I think the fact that the forum is as trollable as it is has more to do with easily trolled people, as well as people who gladly go along with a troll and/or don't even care if something is a troll.

That is my exact point. We go along with it. We swarm them. They drag us along. It is our group think or pack mentality in action. This happens every single time.

An example: Violent Giant - He was a normal poster who went along with the group and then decided to use a proxy and troll us.

So, with most of your long-windedness, I'm still a little bit unclear as to what you *hope* to accomplish here, and how you would *want* to see this forum behave.

This sounds more like people need to learn how to handle dissenting opinions rather than they need their pretty stickers taken away.

We do this constantly and it is pathetic. Ratings don't create this type of group think, our need for drama, controversy and fighting spastics does this.

You want to know what causes group think here. It is not a bunch of small little numbers and icons. It is the need to swarm things like autistic wolves or bees.

There's *still* people who get worked up over shit Dynastia and cat say, and Null has point blank said that they shitpost to get reactions out of people.

Null has made several threads that boil down to him saying "God dammit, you idiots need to stop taking troll bait!"

You ranting and sperging about it isn't going to magically solve the problem.
