I'm a bit confused about the meaning of "Nice Meme!" from what I gather it's a neutral rating of "Winner".

I haven't had the chance to hear the sound, but hopefully the sound will still be there when I get my ratings back.

It's a rating you use when someone posts a DENK MEME. It's positive, not neutral. Also lol you lost your rating privileges.

I lost them about 2 and a half weeks ago, it's not a recent thing.

Anyway, that's not going to happen again. I've been making an effort to avoid Shitposting anywhere except Inner Circle, be less annoying, and contribute more content.

If you would like, I can go through and try to remove some of the ratings if you deem them as necessary in a few months when some of my restrictions get lifted, if I remember.

Like many of you, I like to click on the colourful pictures underneath posts to express my opinion on the posts' content and worth.

And, doubtless also like many of you, I gave no real thought to the possible consequences of clicking on these colourful pictures.

Well today I learned that the feelings of a trollshielding Disco poster are a precious and fragile thing - and that these delicate feelings can be deeply rumpled by the simple act of receiving one sort of colourful e-sticker rather than the sort the feelings owner believed their post deserved.

I don't think I can put it any more poetically than my esteemed colleague and eight-day Kiwi Farms veteran @animedad did in a heartfelt missive send to me via PM:

Honestly dude, go fuck yourself. You're a Chris-chan apologist who is quite to call anyone an A-Log just for calling him fat or autistic. Get off the forums.

I share this with you in the hope that you, too, will think for a moment before you press on any particular rating. With great power comes great responsibility.

This Holiday season, spare a thought for those who just can't handle dissenting opinions. Together, we can all make the Kiwi Farms a kinder, more sensitive, safer space.

We could just rename the Winner rating, the icon is already a little ribbon.

I think that's actually a pretty good idea, it would be used in the same light as the 'dumb' rating but disguised as something positive. I don't see any merit in a 'tl;dr' rating however.

Actually, yes... what does this rating even mean? I've interpreted it to be used for ebin ween trolling plans that Clyde Cash successors post on here, but I'm not sure if that's actually what it means.

I use it as a super dumb usually, so basically what A-log was abused as.

The winner rating is far too overused - I propose that each user only be allowed to give one winner rating per day.

There should be a Smibbly Bibbly rating for posts containing obscure British references. These kinds of posts happen on Kiwifarms more often than you think.

This idea of mine is even more pertinent now that Chris' Anglophilia is flared up to high levels and everyone's discussing British TV shows.
