I think there needs to be a touc.h the poop/ween rating.

None of the other ratings really work for this.

I think the best we got for ween posts at the moment are Autistic, A-log, and possibly Power-Level. Considering how much newfags like the throw the term "ween" around on these forums, I can't forsee any good to come out of a "ween" rating, since people are going to start abusing the shit out of it. For fucksake, even when Null word filtered the phrase some time ago, people still used it in excess. If we did have such a rating though, I feel the best course of action would be to limit it to certain users like Staff Members or True & Honest Fans.

Probably because (1), no one really uses it and (2), you could easily use the report button for posts that go off-topic anyway.

Personally, I think it's for the best.

I'm kind of new here but suddenly I noticed I have the option to rate "dumb" and "a-log" whereas before I didn't. What exactly changed? Does it have to do with time since account creation?

Yes, you get those ratings after a certain amount of days after you have registered. You also get other ratings like Semper Fieldis, Deviant, and Horrifying from commissioning to Chris Chan, which gives you the True and Honest fan status.

Does the thunkful rating have its own icon, or is it just copied from however the emoji looks on your device? On my phone it's a blank character.

If so it would probably make more sense for there to be a specific icon for it like there is for all the other ratings. Also, in the ratings box it's listed as "thoughtful" and there's no icon.

It's being kept that way out of spite now I think. Either way, it's kind of funny given it's the only part of the site that is kept partially broken for pretty much no reason.

@Null I think one rating that would get a lot of use is a negative "Edgy" rating. Maybe make it a razor blade icon. Then set it up so for every 10 Edgy ratings a person receives, they get a week's ban. It might cut down on stupid content and maybe be a good lesson (rate me optimistic).

(1) Just use A-log, Autistic, or Dumb for edgelord ratings. While they may not reflect edgieness as much. It's still a pretty damn good indicator to the edgelord that they're being a complete jackass, and should probably correct their behavior.

(2) For the most part, a lot of these edgy posts are made by newbies. They generally don't understand that the point of this website is not to act like a 14-year old who wants to try to be the cool kids. Plus, considering that the site itself is gear mainly towards mocking lolcows, would it really surprise anybody if someone on here acted like an edgelord at least once? It really wouldn't be practical if we banned a majority of the users from the site just because of that.

(3) Null doesn't know who you are.

Edgy is basically synonymous with dumb.
