A 10th grader from Hanoi Amsterdam High, Vietnam did a flip from his home balcony right in front of his dad. The popo is going after the vid and suicide note's leaker (it was on the News just now), so i'm reuploading it here, fuck them.
I grabbed both the vids from youtube from some shitty youtube download website + i'm phoneposting, so if someone want to do higher res archives feel free to.
Longer but censored version, you can see that he was trying to do homework (or writing his suicide note onto his notebook) late at night (it shows 3 AM in the corner) while his dad is watching TV nearby, then he got fed up and got up to walk around before his dad started nagging him for waiting til this late, he then went out to his balcony to get away/planning to jump. His dad started yelling telling him to get inside, he then told his dad to look at what he wrote. Dad went to look and he flipped.
At the end, who i assume is his younger sister that was sobbing and **probably aunt & uncle just woke up (you can hear it's a woman wailing after the dad ran out, so that was the mom and not the yellow shirt woman)
(Subtitles are mostly gibberish, it's an attempt to make sense what they are saying)
Content of his suicide note + transcript:

Summary: He has been thinking about dying for awhile but couldn't do it because he thought about his friends, vidyas he wanted to play etc. His life was not hard and it's not anyone's fault. Feel sorry for his **sister (was confused that it was a brother because Tú is a common male name) who has to deal with his mom's overbearing attitude from now on, he felt his thought & opinions were not respected. His dad was hot headed and didn't care, but will nag whenever he get the chance. He ended the suicide note with "Life is such a joke".
Some cultural context:
EDIT: Oh, i forgot about the News, they interviewed his friends at school, told them to say "pls respect family privacy and spreading those vid + note is bad", it looks performative as fuck, their school is probably trying to save face. It's also ironic because when this first broke, all the big News sites (including ones related to goverment) posted censored pic of his jumping or snippet from the vid + the suicide note for those views, now they're erasing all of it because the police is involved.

Some cultural context:
Students in VN have been doing online schooling for 2 years because of the coof, only recently they just came back to school but there are still a lot of restrictions. His school is one of the top schools in the country and consider he is in high school, there are probably a lot of pressure to get into a good Uni (despite he is only in grade 10 and just finshed the high school entrance exam, which is pretty cut throat as well). It's not uncommon for students in VN to take supplementary classes or get tutored til late at night (like 9-10pm) after the standard 8 hours studying at school.
His parents sound typical, dad is probably the type to push most of the child rearing job to mom, doesn't care about him emotionally and is stuck to the TV 24/7, basically those boomer dad jokes personified. Mom probably nags & criticizes him a lot, make it difficult for him to share & talk to because he is afraid of being yell at.
So not being to socialize with friend for 2 years + school pressure + nagging parents = depression/suicidal.
The News also mentioned this is the third suicide from students recently, those lockdowns make their mental health worst, poor kids.
