Context: 81-year-old Ramon Najera was attacked by a pack of dogs (mostly pit bulls) when he tried to protect his 74-year-old wife from the attack.

Abilene Moreno, the wife of Christian Alexander, who owned the dogs, says neither is responsible for the attack because the husband took good care of the dogs and also raised them well. Nevertheless, their dogs have attacked people twice in the past. Christian was charged with the attack and taken into custody. Bail was set at $125,000.

The grandchildren of Ramon and his wife, Janie, have set up a GoFundMe page to collect monetary donations for the funeral.

Ramon was a native of San Antonio, a US Air Force veteran and a loving man. This is how his grandchildren described him.

He lost alot of blood. Even with an immediate blood transfusion, the infection would have got him.

Not sure if it's the same incident, but there was one of these in France about 2/3 years ago where the guy was impaled completely, and actually survived after being extricated.

It may be the same one, the people are screaming in french over the video, and the pole look like they could be in Paris

My theory is a pack of strays started harassing the couple (context said a pack of dogs originally assaulted them), the two pitbulls Cindy and Cutie (not their real names) most likely saw the commotion, pack mentality and instict kicked in which resulted in the mauling.

Google answering what are pitbulls bred for:
"Today's pit bull is a descendant of the original English bull-baiting dog—a dog that was bred to bite and hold bulls, bears and other large animals around the face and head. When baiting large animals was outlawed in the 1800s, people turned instead to fighting their dogs against each other."

No hate on pitbulls on my end, in a twisted sence, the two dogs did exactly what they we're bred to do, and the owners failed to take into account their true nature. My blame is squarely on the owners.

I don't quite understand what he's trying to get the nigger to do here. Usually there's something the cop wants you to stop doing so he'll stop hitting or shooting at you. But here laying motionless doesn't work (kind of understandable because he's laying on the chick while holding a knife.) But then disengaging and rolling away from her also doesn't work. Then laying there on his back away from everyone also doesn't work. I don't quite understand the thought process of shooting between second 7 and 12.

You say this and then immediately post a screenshot of him in the process of rolling away from her to lie down on his back on the street, to which he is still being shot for some reason. If you're looking to quell my confusion, you could at least try a bit harder than that.
