Hey guys! Here's something I did recently.

Hey can anybody help me out with a problem I'm having? I'm pretty new to GIMP, and I could use a couple of pointers, specifically regarding TEXT and LETTERING. Using the font interface is really unwieldy, it seems like there's 100+ fonts, and no practical preview system... So at this point, I'm just highlighting text, and picking out promising sounding font names, one by one. Tedious and scatter-shot, to say the least.

So, any veteran GIMP users have good tricks for selecting and viewing the various fonts?
