"Post your Art" Thread

I got Aseprite last night and made a lil gif outta somethin' I made. Included original and the gif edit with black background. First time trying pixel art and I kinda enjoyed it, gonna try making some more of these when I get the time.

Wow, I'm genuinely surprised that this thread exists. It's actually a nice change in pace for me to stumble on an art forum that's not ew as shit. Anyways, so long as we're posting...

It's incomplete and I no longer have the sketch, but for a while I was super into drawing like a year ago. Still have some of my old sketches, but I thought I'd share this one because it was the most dynamic thing I had started to work on; multiple characters, poses that interact, it's an action pose, etc. If I hadn't lost this and finished it through the end, I might have been able to salvage my drawing style since I'd be doing something challenging that might've not worked. Instead I got frustrated, felt stagnant, and kinda gave up when I didn't feel like I was improving. Didn't have the heart anymore.

The sketch is of two Megaman characters, Bass.exe and Rogue. Maybe someday I'll try and pick up the pencil again. Who knows.

I love this! So nice to see Megaman art, it's been so long.

Here's some really stupid and "quick" doodles I made in response to the new Green theme.
My terrible habit of multitasking left the rest of the ones not shown here unfinished. I didn't really want to leave these looking barren so I made a weird abstract background to slap behind them.

The "gag" if you wanna even call it that was just putting a kiwi next to random characters that just happen to be green. Or, in Kermit's case specifically, eating his brains.
I'll probably finish the others eventually. A lot of it's just gonna be really obvious choices because I'm more doing this as a way to get better at the way I make digital art in general. (with a mouse because I'm too cheap to buy one of those touchpad/tablet things)

I drew this in pencil and it looked relatively decent. Then I tried to ink it and... now I think it looks kind of off. You can clearly see where I used Wite-Out to fix mistakes I'd made.

I would have put the pencil sketch up but pencil doesn't mix well with scanners.

Love the color scheme and atmosphere! She looks a bit stiff here, maybe a bit more of a dynamic line? But then it's just me.
thanks, i spent some time to try to get the right amount of color saturation, like halfway between the coloration of the modern landscape and that in the old photographs. originally I had the whole central subject rotated a bit to the side to make a more dynamic angle like below.

But in general the South African riding style I was trying to depict looks a bit weird; back then they would ride with their legs sticking straight out to the stirrups, no bent knees, since their ponies were so small.
