Using ink, pencil, markers, gelpen, and china pencil. I didn't think to add a sort of iridescence to it until after I peeled off the masking fluid. So this is the flat, matte version. I'm doing a green version of my favorite cryptid/mythic creatures doing something relevant to our shared interests to frame and send to the wife while she's out there on the road.

Apart from being you providing a fantastic piece of art as usual, it's a weird coincidence for me to stumble across art of a ghost girl minutes after learning about Randy Stair.
On a side note, could one of you dear Kiwis suggest a free software with noise reduction and poster edges filters akin to Photoshop? I've been messing around with GIMP's G'MIC plugin, but it doesn't feel as consistent. I realize free stuff is not likely to measure up to something you have to pay for, but I thought I'd ask you guys just in case.

This is a WAY BETTER ghost girl than what Randy could muster from copying an OC over and over.
EDIT: I realized it's really the eye makeup that each girl has that's never changed, they all have to follow Ember!
There you go. I would techincally call this '"Abandomware" if only for that reason. Adobe obviously doesn't care what you do with it.

"Bit" of an unconventional icon that I completed yesterday. This was made for a friend of mine who specifically wanted me to depict the Holy Trinity in this form, sort of reflecting a more strict/serious side of God I suppose.
The text from the book is a partial quote from the gospel of Thomas:
"That which you have will save you if you bring it forth from yourselves. That which you do not have within you will kill you if you do not have it within you."
Haha I really had problems with getting the text there, it still looks pretty terrible.
Overall I'm still quite satisfied, it's the first icon I've ever made and the second acrylic (and pencil) work I've completed. 35 x 25 cm.tigerlilly

Coworker asked if I could draw him a Nico Robin after seeing the ChiChi I did for my wife's birthday. Got the lines and preliminary flats done in about 4 hours, now I'm kind of scared to follow through on it since I'm a garbageman at shading and I've never done a non-abstract background before...

Very nice and cute Anime style. Kinda FMA looking, but with enough personality not to look too copycat-ish or generic. I'm not one to pretend like I hold any artistic authority with my amateurish doodles, but if I had to suggest it'd be the following:
I feel like at the picture with the couple holding hands, both girls' arms are just a little too long As for the handholding itself, I think the shorter one should have her elbow slightly bent. Shorter people's hand usually sit a bit lower, so usually when they hold hands with someone taller they have to raise their hands a bit higher. Otherwise, you have nice style to build upon with practice. Hope my two cents aren't too useless.
