I need to get a proper image editor, Krita is barely sufficient for even basic animation.

A sketch iv done but my skills just can't shade or draw. Any ideas on how to move forward?

As far as shading goes, you're not doing bad, you clearly have a consistent and correct idea of which side should be lit, and which side is dark. Just keep practicing at it. I do most of my shading in greyscale, and then just go over that with the actual colors I want to use, keeps me from confusing myself.

I'm not seeing anything glaringly wrong with the anatomy, or even the style there, that light, breezy "sketchy" look you sometimes see, if I had gone to art school, I might even know the name for it....

I know you probably are tired of hearing this, but, keep drawing.... trust me, that's not bad, but I've been in that hole before where you can only see the flaws.

Well, now that I've posted, guess I gotta contribute.
