I did the inconcievable and made a character design that is wearing closed in shoes and even socks.

You may think yeah no shit- but I'm a freak who can't enjoy drawing if I'm not giving myself as many anatomical nightmares as i can at once. The closest I've ever come to closed in shoes is Lumi's bunny slippers. Until now, anyway. The reasoning being that i'm actually so good at drawing feet now that i need to learn how to draw shoes again.

It is just a rough draft for now, but i look forward to making it a render like the gal on the last page, but this entire week is full up. Got a protest to attend today and more stuff, workshops, presentations, and a performance.

I recently bought an iPad Pro and an e-pencil for my mom for Christmas but she’s only been using it to play Candy Crush, so I’ve been borrowing it and using it to doodle a little bit every day with Procreate. I’ve mostly been drawing elephants because they’re my gf’s favourite animal. I’m not a very good artist, but I‘m satisfied with some of my stuff anyway.

This November I tried participating in a horror themed competition on DA, but unfortunately missed the deadline due to life getting in the way. Put it away for a few weeks, but decided to finish it anyways. Every now and then people say some of my doodles are scary\unsettling even when I'm just going for it looking funnily grotesque\grody, so I really wanted to see what would happen if I'd go for deliberately spooky. I wonder if I've overdone it and ended up with something tryhard-y. You'll be the judge!
