what the hell, haven't posted in here. here's some crap from earlier this month.

yet again i'm entertaining a foggy comic idea #534805738528 for years (like 8 years) and these are the pictures i drew up that suck the least.

i made our hero not quite red, and not quite ash - but close enough so you instantly know he's the protag in the g1 pokeymanz. same to his rival. the mons can talk just like people but due to blahblah blah whatever their interactions with humans are limited - due to blahwhatev pokeyman attacks have no effect whatsoever on people, as do pokeballs. but some special mons -like that butterfree character i've had for a few years that never got a name- can ascend to being on level with people. people can be "avatars" or "natives" to the realm of poggeymanz. our hero crimson is an avatar. he's also quite a fun little sleazebag. he'll be a little creep that likes to have fun.

our villain is a shiny mewtwo (also had that character for several years) but my drawing of him sucked.

we're having a special on jynxes, can you tell? i'm making all the mons...well, easier for ME to draw, i don't do details well and my hands are still shaky. i'm also making the mons individual. in the case of this particular jynx, you can see she has different things to wear. she's also "ascended". and cartoon beastiality is still funny.

so you may have figured out i mixed up a bunch of new custom crayola markers. i'm just practicing and having fun while i PROCRASTINATE.

i should get back into everything.

few days ago. so i seem to have a few fire-type characters already - our hero's starter who kinda splits off from him due to personal differences, our rival's ninetails who is a part of a love triangle with our hero and the jynx, and this guy - a depressed arcanine. and of course the barkeep, some old "native" (npc) guy who listens to depressed pokeymen dump their baggage on him all day long.

guy on top left is just someone i drew from a youtube video, ignore him. practice of our hero crimson, and his rival azul. they look like they're in their thirties or something. azul will smell ya later, but he's actually going to be a pretty nice guy and not at all an obnoxious cockmunch. i went overboard with his hair. so crimson's a bit of an antihero - not much, he's just kinda sleazy, but not like 90's superantihero or anything. also, maybe you can tell here, idk, but for a long sort of time i wish i could accurately draw characters, props, and environments on a CONSISTENT scale from polygony to smooth and realistic, to differentiate the avatars (who i want to draw more realistically) from the natives and their world (more polygony and simple - even transparent). but easier said than done. especially when you're as picky and perfectionist as i am.

also azul is supposed to be a native, but i'm just working on his design.

practice drawing our leading lady. hm, got her too humanoid. i want her to look more cartoonish because it's not weird enough to have a human smooching on a very humanoid girlfriend. no, she's gotta look cute but wacky. also she has to become a badass to save the world and stuff.

okay i've been busy lately but that doesn't mean i can't find time to practice/rough something out.

this isn't going to be the "finished product", obv - for one thing that's quite a ways away. for another, my gimmick is printer paper and sharpies or something.

I'm an aspiring colorist who uses traditional media in my work (the drawings and inks are by other people). My specialty is crayons (with a little paint thinner to blend it). It's a unique medium that has its own unique medium that I enjoy working with.

I used all metallic colored crayons for the angel.
