I god damn posted this in the wrong thread: Been attempting photoshop digital art tutorials on Illustrator, because I'm working with vectors and not pixels I have to do some things backwards or with my own twist. A nice excercise, really.

I'm sad because I've been able to draw fuck all lately. I looked back in my archive and found some silly stuff my best friend and I did back in August. It'd been a few years since we last were able to hang out so we did what we love doing.

On a less ridiculous note we also spent another night doing this more-serious collab. Never got to finish it seeing as we both had to get back home to our respective corners of the globe.

It was only a few hours' work and I really wish we had more time. I did do more work on detailing the foreground and background after she left but I don't have any photos of that on hand for some reason. The masked off section is the moon, and obviously there was a lot left to do.

I get so antsy over showing any work-in-progress stuff.

What make is your tablet and what programs do you generally use?

What make is your tablet and what programs do you generally use?

It's a wacom intuos and I have Corel Painter Essentials 5. I've just figured out how to do different layers, and how the soften feature works, but have no idea how to blend. (I'm really only familiar with traditional media)
