Found him while cleaning out a drawer. Made him a few years ago out of polymer clay. There might be a Tonberry stashed away somewhere as well--with glow-in-the-dark eyes and a glow-in-the-dark lantern.

So, my New Years resolution is/was, "learn new things". So everyday I've been trying to draw or paint. I've never ever drawn or painted ever in my life really, not even as a kid. Anyway, this a painting I did 31 days into my little experiment.

Well, I'm still learning. But that's alright, everyone has to start somewhere.

Bored at work yesterday, went on a marker buying frenzy (most notably: Copics Ciao/Sketch r37, yr04, g07, b29, y15, bv08, rv63, bv31, v000, and Wide b34, c3, and Twin Sharpies in blue, green, red, and other stuff that was on sale like Bic Mark-its and Sharpie Pens)

Obv, markers fresh out of storage in a display for a long time aren't going to be super great, imo, but I just got a feel for what I bought. After taking them home and priming them, they work much better now.

So I had time to kill, so I made up an ORIGINAL character who is not at all in any way a knockoff of Link, and his steed is absolutely NOT Epona. Note the differences.

Maybe I'll draw up some dungeon temple log cabins or something sometime.

Edit: more Moose with the Golden Antlers (COPYRIGHT!!!) words cannot describe how much I love brush tipped markers. I love them so very much, you have no idea. I've been entertaining the notion of getting 5 more .5 mm Rapidographs and white ink, but also light colored ink so I can have colored highlights. But that could get expensive and I don't have any empty vials right now. But I should do that sometime. Next color would probably be red. I hope it could be opaque.
