Paint.net is free (I think) but I don't like it much. SAI isn't supposed to be free but there's pirated cracks all over the place, not hard to get. CLIPStudio is my favourite, it's not free but it's cheap (£30 for me, maybe $40ish?) and they do sales quite often, and it has a free trial too.I want to eventually try my hand at digital art, but as far as I've gone into digital is digital photography. Anyone have any recommendations for a good free program? I do studio art & sketches, but I should probably get more experience with digital.
Krita is pretty good and robust program.I want to eventually try my hand at digital art, but as far as I've gone into digital is digital photography. Anyone have any recommendations for a good free program? I do studio art & sketches, but I should probably get more experience with digital.
krita, as mentioned, is a pretty good free art program. paint tool sai is really beginner friendly(particularly if you have a tablet) and the free downloads are available literally everywhere, it's definitely the easiest "paid" art program to find for free.I want to eventually try my hand at digital art, but as far as I've gone into digital is digital photography.
