Finished a very long render, couldn't make it into a gif this time because of the size.
I wish TV would put on stuff like this. That's like perfect break filler right there!

Speaking of break, I got to go up to see my sis at her home up in the Wisconsin jungles and had to give her several drawings she wanted me to do for her kids to put in their rooms. Managed to snap some pics of these beforehand, though a few were already posted here before.

My next challenge (at her German husband's insistence) is to do a giant drawing of their house (one of those log-built types), so I have that to look forward to for a while if I can manage to make it all fit on a 16" x 20" illustration board.

I drew another fucking squid.
This thing is still unfinished and I'm only posting it because I have no clue if I'm gonna try and finish it.
I was pretty much just gonna draw a bunch of random characters wearing "make america great again" hats and paying tribute to Harambe, kind of a parody of those weird ass images with random characters mourning shit like 9/11. Not sure if I still wanna go through with that if I finish it because considering how long this tiny bit took to do. Here's what I had so far with a photo of Donald Trump in the Background because i hadn't drawn any background yet.

good luck, personally i can't stand doing difficult artwork for other people (if it's unpaid). doodles are fine but the second it comes down to architecture or landscapes i just....eugh....
the worst thing is that everyone in my family assumes that i'm an art god just because i draw cool cartoon people and animals sometimes so i often get calls from them asking me to draw really specific shit for birthdays or w/e and i just feel horrible doing it because it's for free and it's art of things that i don't enjoy drawing. hopefully it's a different case for you. maybe i'm just selfish, idk.

put a bible verse on it in a tacky cursive font, or random inspirational quotes attributed to the wrong people.

I redid a fractal render, this time in glorious 1080p. Render time 18 hours 47 minutes.

I found I was quite the opposite, at least back in high school. My characters sucked but my landscapes/objects were decent. I sorta blamed this on my love of a little PBS show I used to turn to called 'The Secret City". That show always dealt with simple 3-D shapes you could doodle and I was always there with some blank sheets at hand following along.

I painted this 22 years ago for an art class I took and it got entered in an art show or two. Didn't win awards though.

I'm certain this won't be a problem for me, I'm thinking simple pen & ink illustration with some color washes.

I know how you feel, I turn down those offers as well, but my sis says she'll pay me for it, she already gave me some cash for what I sent her already. If I could make this presentable enough, I'm sure I'll get paid a bit more handsomely.

I suppose I'll drop a couple of...things here.

A design for a series of creatures I'm working on o put on some merch. I'd actually appreciate some suggestions on the color palette since I'm not really feeling that weird purple color I've got on him right now.

I tried my hand at that "overly stylized text" thing again, this time on the Kiwi farms logo. I might end up trying to make something like this as an actual sign on my wall, no promises though because I have no idea How i'm gonna go about doing something like that at the moment.

I used the actual kiwi logo this time instead of drawing my own like I did last time because I'm lazy. It's crudely put in there because the text was really my main focus here.
