Random question but do you think you as an artist with good skill can make almost anything look cool if it looks good
It depends on whether art subject are you focusing on to draw or illustrate. Creativity is one part to make your art charming, but simple enough referencing is good in my opinion. You can also try unique flavors of art like drawing food, animals, mecha, practicing more original character designs, graphic design or practicing drawing your personal assets on your own.
Testing multiple perspectives, angles and foreshortening would help your art looks more dynamic. I have a two anime girls artwork from 2021 that intend to redesign and simplify the practice to a t to make it charming.
I still use IbisPaint a lot, especially when I am travelling, and in spite of many of its flaws, it was surprisingly fun to use when I felt like drawing something creative with my hands like the last donut I did, cuisines, assets and so on. Not that I hate it, I am too used to be a Windowsfag. In the end, creativity is the main selling point for your art’s uniqueness, regardless of device. You can make a Texas Instrument Gundam-like mech and its design still looks cool and badass.

Surprisingly nice! I admit, it was good for a fast doodle.
