"Post your Art" Thread

I feel like what I do is cheating. I make a 3d model of what I'll draw, then use that 3d model for shading and ref, often times drawing over my model.

For example, here's a pupper I made

heres a few of my best unfinished pieces that will probably never get completed....

It was gonna be a bear...I stopped for the night and got too scared to fuck it up, so it'll be forever unfinished

This was gonna be Harley Quinn, never got around to doing eyeshadows or anything... I'd love to finish her but my tablet broke on me

@nyess I noticed the tail is still a buttplug so I am gonna help you out there and bump it up a bit. The thing about digital media is you can easily correct any line art mistakes by painting over them. Not taking every advantage you can with the medium is a waste of potential. I know you're just getting into it so I figured I could help point you in the right direction as far as using the medium goes. The potential with digital painting is limitless. The general approach to digital painting shares a huge amount of tacit knowledge with traditional media, but when it comes to application you have to free yourself from the physical limitations and lines of thought that exists with traditional media.

WHY DID U RUIN IT

I was trying to make it look like the tail was sandwiched between her buns and u tarnished my work ;_;

but ya I know about being able to alter drawings in digital media, I've done it before. But ty for taking the time to work on it <3

Aw shucks. :oops:

And sorry to beat a dead horse there, since meowthkip already brought it up. I also realized I have nowhere near the amount of brush control as you do while I was trying to fix it, so I still consider you the superior artist here. I just wanted to share my mental approach to digital art.

Know that feeling when you've got a bottle of wine and you're doodling in front of the tv, and then suddenly the sun is up and you've a fully fledged bit of tumblr-esque fanart that you got way too into and would never let your parents see? My art assignment for uni's all done so I wanted to use the tablet a bit, since I neglected it these past months. This is by no means finished and I got carried away with the black pen. Don't drink and draw!
