Ive spent a lot of time this past year practicing 3D modelling

That female body is really nice! I can only recommend you give her a lil more crotch (unless that model is going to be dressed later) and make the arms a teensy bit shorter and attached closer to the armpit--

Anatomy is hard and I barely master it myself so I guess my advice is eh-ish. Take it or leave it, I really admire your modeling either way as I'm incapable of doing anything else than 2D o/

And on my side, more Overwatch bullshit, I drew a male Widowmaker because genderbends are my weakness.

I think his name would be Ladykiller, in this form. o/

The main reason I create models is because I can't draw

The main difficulty is related to figuring out the exact process and understanding the interface. Like I write notes like I'm in school about how to do everything.

Nice.

I swear I've seen this style somewhere else though...have you ever drawn in a setting with zeppelins perchance?

My tablet arrives soon. I don't know how to fucking draw but I'm gonna start.
yes, long time ago

Whoo. Back in the saddle.

This is a WIP. This sketch took me an hour to put together. I will do little changed here and there.

I was inspired by Dobson's latest tantrum over critique. Sorry for the quality.

This is a Disneyfied Alex Ze Pirate

Here's an interesting thing to notice, now that I'm seeing this!
Your line is great and I really love the pose, by the way, so there's no denying the quality of what you're posting! However this is something I've seen a lot in comics/video games-- and this is more genuine curiosity than complaining, really. I'm sure there have been five thousand feminist rants on this subject but I'd rather get a clear answer.

About her leotard/bodything, I always noticed this trend of making the crotch area cupped and defined, almost in the same way a (very small) penis would be lined out. I'm not going to go into in-depth detail about vagina anatomy but an outfit like that would realistically have her outer labia hanging all over the place (yes, even is said labia is smaller than the average woman).

I'm not complaining because 'muh sexualization' or anything, it's more a matter of me focusing on anatomical correctness and practical clothing. I wonder where this 'cupped crotch+string panties' thing came from. Comics or manga or video games?

Anyway, again that's some reaaaally nice art-- despite the fact that I can't wrap my head around what the lower leg is doing. It's gread and it looks good, but I'm trying to imagine how her leg is placed for that.

Eh, whatever. 10/10 good art + you need to tell me how you make such thin, clean lines!

Oh, um...I dunno where it comes from. I don't think it's a cultural thing, probably a universal aspect brought on by artists who understand the concepts of clothing folds but don't have a clear idea of what parts look like what under certain stress or designs.

Also a lot of artist have more practice in drawing skin-tight outfits rather than a broader range of clothing (which I'm trying to learn)

As for the lines, it's a mix of practice and do-overs. I do use blue pencil for starting lines and will rough out lines before going over them for a darker, more refined look. Eventually you learn to have a steady hand and draw lines out fully instead of scratching them along. And ty <3
