I do like the base white-mint palette with high values on the ancients, it maintains the plant-like appearance while also going in hand with their ascendant, near-ethereal, or advanced qualities. With said palette applied, I also realized something about what the arms and legs somewhat look like too:

After the base palette, the distinct colors draw attention to critical parts of the body, namely the head (crest and eyes), the chest (for the female on the right), and the genitalia for the functions of sexual allure and eye direction as well as interpersonal identification. I had some trouble picking those colors, particularly for the crests and eyes. Originally, I wanted the crests and eyes to both be the same shade, but I finally decided to keep them at separate colors after some thinking. I figured that I would keep the male head crest fairly subdued while the female crest would be bright to indicate that the male is, romantically speaking, the pursuer, and that the female is the pursued/desired. The eye colors were a bit of a toss up when I diverged the crest colors, but after some thought, I figure there could be some large variance among the general population.

As for the robot/synthoid, my only thoughts are that it turned out well. I might embellish the thing with some more details in small protrusions but nearly everything looks fine. I'm not exactly sure that I like the depiction of the "legs" at its bottom there so I'll probably have to redo those things at some point.

One of my friends introduced me to Mouthwashing a bit ago and I still love how it handled perception. Really great game, but yea, the fanbase is definitely full of fags

Not quuuuuuuuite sure what I'm doing, but just a random warmup today while I relearn some things I guess. I didn't really get the head tilt the way I wanted and the eyes just look like they're not level because of it lol also would have rather tilted the pelvis in a more extreme way relative to the ribs so the legs weren't in such a boring pose, but I also kind of just hate doing legs in general.
e: I went ahead and just adjusted the leg to shift a different way.
