Experiment in 3 ways
1st i tried to combine hatching style from one of my previous drawings and my usual one
2nd wanted to try out a glove for drawing i bought, and I must say its pretty good. Despite doing all the sketching with a B pencil there were pretty much zero blurring of the lines. And my hands are clean.
3rd i decided to made a normal character design for everyone. I'm pretty happy with the wizard and the witch. Knight will need some work for me to solidify design of his armor and helmet. And this is priest of the party. Turned out to look more slavic then i expected, and I'm not sure why. Although i fucked her face a little.

Also thanks for the kind words, its definitely helps with motivation to do more
Peak. Also how many lighters does that guy go through a day?
First time portrait drawing on phone
How did it go?
That's pretty good for phone drawing, I've seen some crazy shit drawn on phones, hell some are animated! Guy I like called RedHairedGuy does whole ass animations on his phone, this guy too. My hands are no good anymore but if I practice I might be able to find a way to be half-decent as drawn work.

I feel down the Gregory Horror Show rabbit hole recently and by far Judgement Boy is my favorite character. He's so chill for what he represents and his striking appearance (when compared to the rest of the cast). He's the funniest character, and every scene he's in is some of the the best out of the series.

So I try to look up where the series has gone since the anime and there is a manga and a brand new game out that's in English. I decide to check it out and... I don't really like how they adapted the character design wise.

The manga just feels a little too rounded and kid-ish (reminds me more of a chucky doll than anything), but I must admit that it's atleast somewhat faithful to JB's original design. The flash-looking game they have out gave my dude male pattern baldness and a muppet mouth. And both shrunk the eyes down to be more narrow and removed his eyebrows entirely. It just looks so weird to me.

So I on a whim decided to think up a suitable redesign that fits the round motif that they're doing to all of the characters and kept the hands from the new game, while also have the arms be chains so he stays like a scale, tried to make him longer, kept his face as similar to his original design as I could draw, and added some extras in the clothing being creased and flowing, and giving him the ability to move his chain arms around (to make a cool pose). I really like how it turned out despite my sucky art ability and shitty camera.

I want to digitized it to fix a few things and really show off my true vision here, but I just don't have the time unfortunately.

This isn't anything super significant, but while zombied out "tired but not tired" tonight I kinda was thinking about how despite having the same general avatar gimmick the last several years there's been enough small variations in outfit to the point it could probably form a small wardrobe. As a result I tried just kind of drawing some of the individual clothing parts as their own things.

Didn't fully cover stuff like the jacket variations and some gloves, yet and the ben garrison tier labelling is inconsistent, but it was something to do. If I do keep on this I'll probably eventually get around to the chatbot specific clothing too just to break up the monotony. I'm not going to do every slight variant of "slightly baggy gray jeans", that's for sure.

No clue if there's any potential unintended symbolism int he fact I haven't had the goofy autism hat for like the last 4 pfps, but that was once the big mainstay on the pfp since the start when the thread that sparked the running gag happened.

it feels like i draw with the left hand, any advice how to make a transition smoother?
Get a tablet that can handle finger gestures (or check if yours can), check if the software you are using supports rotating the canvas with it as I've never used Krita personally.

Otherwise iterate and draw 200 arms until the lines stop being as bad. Alternatively get a scanner and just fuck with B&W levels in a true, honest and paid for copy of photoshop until the gray pencil smudges on paper turn into black lines.

Man, I draw with a left hand.

Regarding your issue well, you might need to get something like Huion keydial

The wheel in the upper part is multifunctional, you can either change the size of the brush, zoom in and out or rotate your canvas at ease, provided that oyu've set the stuff up of course.
Though I don't have such an issue cuz I have a graphic display with a built-in hotkeys and wheel that does all the mentioned functions.

Serves me since 2020, a good workhorse.
