Once again im asking for a feedback
Im trying to improve drawing characters that are interacting with each other and ended up with this

It supposed to be a knight stabing a demon with his own hor while demon desperatly trying to shake him off and grabing his leg
And before i ink it i want to ask you guys if it looks like it. Also im torn on showing the eye on a demon or keep it blank.
Blank one will show more rage in him but with eye i can try to depict fear
Looks cool, just needs a couple of tweaks on the perspective for the arms chest and one of the knight's leg position slightly.
On the arm thats more in the background, id overlap the muscles to help shorten it, move the chest out more and have it hide part of the neck to emphasise the body curling back in attempt to grab the knight off of him. You could also use the hand thats going for the leg grab to help frame and push the eye around the image.

If you want i can do a draw over thing as im not the best with writing down what i mean lol.

oh man i would love it
Edit: meanwhile im trying other things
I like the idea of having one hand pushing the horn down rather than hugging it
Probably will try to make in digital since my PC is finally done

Took a little bit of fiddling about, but did a bit more of a rework than i was intending to do.
minotaur_01.jpg
Main things I've done were changing the position of the minotaurs arms as a way to frame the knight, turned and tweaked the twist in the face to help woth depth, knights legs moved to be planted against the horns, flipping the broken horn so it flows with the cape into the beasts face with the implied attack leading to the horn being put through the eye.

I think you do really well with it, you're definitely god tier at shading.
Took me quite a few years to get the grasp of dynamic posing and composition from looking into film and animation fundamentals, they can be tricky and I still get stuck on it sometimes too.

I'm making a comic - it's a gritty buddy cop story set in a fantasy world.

I think Null said personal ads for things like this are okay as long as it's not disruptive and is community approved, so hopefully you guys like what I post and I can keep you all updated

First all all, solid work! May I ask, which kind of programs are you using to make all of this? Im familiar with Procreate and im waiting for clip studio paint to go on sale on black friday tbh, but im working on a project myself and I would definitely appreciate some ideas and suggestions of what potentially look into, thank you!

I planned on doing inktober but my lazy ass didn't want to get into that drawing chair. Instead of doing one prompt, I tried to combine a few because I was ambitious aka wanted to get inktober over with. Here are the prompts for this piece: starfish, reckless, murky and deer.

I use Krita, CSP, and Photoshop. CSP is the gold standard for making comics imo. Buy a legit copy too, it's worth supporting.
Krita is used for just one brush that is tied to the program - I don't like Krita or use it for anything else but many people do. It's free. I use Photoshop for post processing effects.

CSP is fantastic and you can set it up to feeling just like working with pencil on paper with a little effort.

Do you work with the ex version? That s the one I was looking into. Im well versed to photoshop and other Adobe programs but over the time I got so used to easier interfaces, that s why I love procreate tbh

You should crack CSP EX. It has all the remaining features Pro doesn’t have, and basically you can download as much assets that you prefer to stylize your art on.

The Clip Studio startup app provides you new assets daily, as well as allowing you to search for your desired assets; and most of the popular assets in CSP are made by Nips, so whether you like it or not, you decide which one is good to go.

Also, paid assets and daily logins are very forgiving by Celsys’ generosity to its users, so whenever they host logins, get into it and obtain Clippies to buy cheap or expensive-but-worthy assets.

It’s optional to support Celsys or to crack.

Thank you for the detailed answer, much appreciated! I was honestly waiting for the black fridays sales and get myself the permanent abo for the ex version (I wanted to have it on my PC and work with it thanks to a huion tablet).
Edited to add: im a complete noob about where and how to get myself a cracked version of it, plus im a little concerned I might incur into problems in a future if I will choose to upgrade or get myself some new features directly from the official website

I've been so fucking dead this year to the point it's been affecting my ability to draw and finish shit quickly. A lot of time sensitive PFPS got unused to to not getting done in time. That shouldn't be happening cause as far as projects go that's a really minor one. I have a tiny ass sketchbook I got last year or so for like 4 dollars and haven't used once, so to prove to myself I was still SOMEWHAT capable of drawing still with how the last few months have been a nightmare I tried copying some art someone posted on my profile a month or 2 ago because I liked the expressive face and overall energy to it.

nevergoonnep.JPG

Toned down some specific elements (or at least tried to without destroying the outfit and look) and tried making it a tiny bit more detailed because I wasn't fully aiming for a 1 to 1 copy. Not 100% happy with the results but it's mostly just likely only the stuff I notice about how I wanted the sketch to come out.

Also I drew a kiwi suffering because that's how I feel right now.

Painted for the Anna O' Brien thread, Viking Princess Annja was given the WRONG BAGEL and is now overcome with berserker rage! She’s already ripped the head off of the Philadelphia Flyers mascot and is wearing it as a trophy, and she’s coming for everyone in her path.

I dont know if anyone ever do random doodles like these, but it does take me back to my younger days when I would paint on grip tape at my local skate park
