Question: i just bought myself a Microsoft surface pro 7 tablet for drawing, but apperently it needs a special pen that needs to be charged(?)
Does it need a specific pen or any of "generic" will do?
I don't think so, I think it just needs to pen that supported by Microsoft program, however I tried to find info online but it extremely confusing to, from what I gathered it needs to support MPP,

Thanks a lot. Tho i don't think it's such a great thing.
People usually compliment how clean it is or how good the lines are but beyond that i think it's not good
nonsense. clean sketchline is the base of all things
if you wanna add some shadows to make it more moody or color it out you gotta do the linework first. it just depends on what direction you want go in

I tried to put color with color pencils but the paper grain bugs me to no end after being brainrotten by the smooth colors of digital pieces. I'm also limited with what i have and i need to mix and match colors to get good palettes and shadows.

I also did inking a few times and the results were ok

I've been working on something but working on figures n shit still in the meantime:

I think perspective wonky, but I haven't done any digital stuff in awhile, I do enjoy drawing this cartoon car for some reason tho.

I been trying to git gud at perspective lately as well. if I may offer advice, lines generally converge at the vanishing points. since the top of your car slopes down and the bottom slopes up, your horizon line would be in the middle. the blue line in my shitty reproduction. I think the perspective on your car is pretty much perfect, but your brain thinks its wonky because the background does not match it. to fix, the sidewalk and tree would need to rest on that imaginary ground plane that has already been defined by the perspective of the car (or adjust the car to match the perspective of the tree and sidewalk. in that case we would actually be seeing the roof of the car, as the whole car would be below the horizon line). if that makes sense, idk. im not in any position to give advice 2bh since im fucking dogshit, this is just what I've learned.

The thing with vanishing points is that most of the time in a lot of drawings they are outside of the page, so the changes done to the shapes are pretty subtle.

In a sense, a lot of things when doing drawings are subtle since it needs to click with your brain. While drawing sometimes require exaggeration, in some aspects it's better to be subtle.

Also, really like the first drawing. The creases on the pants are very well done
