"Post your Art" Thread

View attachment 8866257
I rarely ever draw people, nor do I often try to go for a more realistic look, but for some reason I felt the urge to sketch myself while I was in the middle of a totally different drawing, so I indulged myself using a photo of myself as reference. Not sure if it'd be risky or not to post the actual thing (I guess it's a bit vain of me to think that, since I'm implying it's so true to life that it's basically photorealistic?) but I don't wanna take any chances so I censored it. The sad part is: now it looks like a pooner art :(
It's okay to be a little chud, dood

Some likeness studies I did of glorious side leader.

I was working on digitizing my previous art to put on shirts, since soon we should start working on production and such
so technically nothing new

A heraldic feverweed. Originally drawn on paper and then vectorised.

There is a common thistle heraldic charge - primarily assosciated with Scotland. But I've never seen this rather similar plant be done as well. I've dramatised the appearence for better effect, of course, the petals under it's bulb usually don't curve like that, but they are prickly.

Life drawings from the past ~2 years. Charcoal pencils are very fun but I'm still working on getting fine control with sticks and the confidence to go with darker tones.

There was one you did with door peep hole, if I remember it was knight and wizard knocking on door or something, thought that be pretty cool graphic, but im not much designer or know how to do graphics so I could be wrong, but I would see how that looks on shirt.

Oh you mean halloween art.
Maybe for October it would be weird to sell it now.

I bought a drawing surface and it came with a fancy art glove. I feel like an artist already. Look at my cube head.

Reminds me how years ago i used Jersh as a base for a laid back but brutal Cyberpunk merc. Very nice job with those lines.

I would advise to try doing some drawings with strong directional shadows. A thing a lot of people do is to think shadows have only 1 value when they have multiple and the stronger values tend to be closer to the edge of the shadow and hidden parts of the surface. They are a good exercise i always recommend

I always wondered how tf the world worked if Mike didn't even show up until 3/4ths of the way through the first game.

Like was his first 6 months of the coma just him subconsciously sitting in a cage made of goo? The Rapposa and Player are doing a lot of stuff for... a while before he's even made aware of it.

It's heavily implied that the "Raposa Realm" isn't just a figment of Mike's imagination, but a separate dimension created by the actual Christian God. Mike somehow helps power its existence, but he didn't actually create it.

(Edit: The game's creator also confirmed they were making it up as they went along, so they weren't thinking that far ahead. Hell, in the first game, Mike is a fully-grown adult with a computer programming job. His name is a pun on "Microsoft".)
