"Post your Art" Thread

I shouldn't be allowed to have a tablet.

I drew this in church last week but only just scanned it today and had to touch it up a bit in PhotoShop (plus another picture I drew yesterday, but I gotta fix it as well). I need to do more (mood) landscape pictures.

You should do more traditional art. I feel like your pencil strokes are less shaky when you do that sort of stuff as opposed to the digital stuff.

I suppose that's my problem too.
There's a lack of hand-eye coordination with a tablet versus say a tablet with a touch screen and even more of one compared to traditional art.

I'm still waiting for there to be brushes for CSP that actually feel like legit copic/prismacolor markers.

I don't much have a problem with tablets using touch screens, but somehow the physicality involved just feels a little disconnected to me. It might be a lag or a similar issue, but it still feels a bit distant to me than on paper.

Of course I also think I do better roughing things out than finalizing them.

I’ve just heard using a tablet with a screen is still different than traditional, but very much an enjoyable and preferable way of doing digital art.

My way of focusing in class is to draw shitty anime.

Gin Ichimaru from Bleach

I've also been taking several art history classes in college and the only way I can remember any of the art pieces is to at least sketch them, and sometimes the professor lingers on a slide, and sometimes I have to rush just to get the basic idea down.

I didn’t rly feel like drawing but I realized I had never done a reference for my fursona. I tried, it turned out terrible bc my hand didn’t want to, and I kinda gave up. Terrible photos for a terrible reference.
Does this help your reference at all?

Don't give up on your drawing, the ref you made was actually good! It's just harder to draw anthro-like animals because they require a bit of studying. Also I really like the hairstyle on your sona, goat-like sonas are cuties x3
