"Post your Art" Thread

I got Clip Studio Paint and a new tablet, so I'm just doodling to get used to it. It's not too different from Photoshop outside of some layout differences, but the tablet has a different feel, so that's why.

It's actually been a really long time since I saw HM2K I remember it not being that great but I've read the fuck out of the comic adaptation that was in the Summer '99 special of Heavy Metal magazine.

The second drawing looks like some sort of OG Fallout concept art, i like it.
I just made this comic from remembering when my friend genuinely thought that this was how the law worked. It's probably funnier to my drunk brain than anything.

I did a bunch of sketches and made a comic from them but since it won't be cohorent to anyone but me i'll instead post this incredibly silly drawing I did.

Remi-chan here may have really short legs but at least she's in color. Was experimenting with a softer much more cutesy style than my standard faire.

Here's some advice: when starting your drawing, always start lightly, and then go heavy only on what you're ready to keep; this makes it easier to erase the lines and gives your art a cleaner look. Otherwise, you get the "ghost line" effect on your paper like what you see here. Additionally, if you decide to shade, the gouges you made in the paper earlier will show up and ruin the effect.
You won't get light lines on your first try, but practice. You'll get it.
Alternatively, go to an art store and buy a couple of H and 2H pencils. They have a lighter line than normal pencils, which makes it easier to do the initial drawing; once you're satisfied, switch to a darker pencil then.

An early sketch I did for a potential cyberpunk project I’ve been mulling over. Thinking about having it aimed at a younger audience so I can skip the corporate tyranny and other depressing aspects so it can be focused on having kickass adventures in a high-tech, pseudo ancap city.

He might not have copper wiring to reroute his fear of pain, but he has nerves of steel.
