Two days later after waking up at 4 AM ON A WEEKDAY, I got my tablet ready and over two periods (had art workshop in the middle of them) I drew the Lass of Steel.

Interestingly, this is the first piece in ages where I buckled down and used references.

Originally I wasn't intending to do dramatis shading but look If I place a nice glowy sun in an artwork I won't be able to resist, lmaooo.

Decided to make another of the protagonists in this kinda way. In this shot we also see a bit of Junko, whom Flannel is opposing.

Using references has been working out well for me. The perspective on the background is a bit wonky but I can live with it.​

Wow, y'all's art are bitchin'

Don't mind me posting this colorful boy.

Drawn and painted back in June. Wanted to design a colorful derg without the colors to be straining on the eyes. I used Schmincke Horadem watercolors and Faber Castell - Albrecht Dürer watercolor pencils. Used a Sakura white gel pen for highlights, and small shimmering details (notice the white dots on the shoulders, leg, and wing)

Oh yeah! I updated this to fix the buns on bungirl and also did some other fixes, things that were bugging me hella!

Also! Now that I''m more awake, lemme go into the logistics of that stupid fucking weapon because my autism demands it!

It's constructed like all weapons wielded by the "Junked" protagonists, out of, well... junk! In this case from garden hose cuts, a plunger, a cinderblock, a steel construction girder and two conductor rods... or radio aerials you find on cars. It's two-handed sword or claymore class.

Yes, that is a jacob's ladder running up the conductor rods, which makes the sword more dangerous at the pointy end!

How does it work? I have no idea! I'm not a scientist, I'm a creative! Now, granted- I could probably look up a jacob's ladder to see how they are made and find some way to justify it... But that's just gonna make me sound more autistic than I likely do already!

Here's few of my drawings from previous months.

First one is a scrapped sketch from March 2021, I tend to complete it, but I unfortunaly scrapped it, in order to focus on other works I still didn't complete yet, including a load of crudely drawn sketches that I need to redraw and more machinery drawing practices too. I haven't been thinking about finishing the entire sketch completely.

Second is a drawing in progress of a OC I had, weapon is basically a weird combination of a katana and a rapier (?), Kinda almost done with the line art here.
Third, before and after right eye surgery.


Fourth, main OC. One is a cel-shading practice, while the other one drawing of her was drawn on MSPaint, giving it a bit of an oekaki experience from the earlier years. No other parts were shaded except for the colored eyes in the second drawing.


And, there's also a doodle of my old Sonic OC. Her name was Sachigou, second name unknown; like how the picture said.

I redid a painting of Julie from Heavy Metal 2000 from back in 2019 that I actually posted in our now-inactive art critique thread, I got some good feedback on what to improve on back then and still remembered some of it.

Original was done on watercolor paper which I don't really love the texture of, the newer one I'm using bristol board. The media is almost the same (watercolor and gouache) but I used some watercolor pencils and a white gel pen for the newer once and the older has some oil pastel.

In my opinion, this artwork is too busy and excessively pastel. There's nowhere for me to easily rest my eyes.
