post your favorite and preferred governing system - debate on why you prefer your governing system and why it's a good idea to establish it in an existing government

I like the idea of a monarchy where the king holds a great deal of power, though not totally unchecked. I think they would be better at having a long-term vision for the country and not sell their people out. Compare the results of oil-rich countries, the Federal Republic of Nigeria vs. the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. One is a colony of Shell Oil, allowed to exploit the people and obliterate the ecosystem, while the other, has put the resources to good use, ensuring a Bangladeshi slave in every home and senselessly large building projects in the desert. A king is like a father to his people and will try to ensure a good future for them, while a president only cares about the next election and getting as much in "contributions" before the end of his term.

i think what you mean is unitary monarchy. unitary means centralization and it's a special ideology in my opinion because it sits in the middle between authoritarianism and democracy. it's not like authoritarian democracy because it gives people rights and it's still democratic. it's not fully democratic because of the centralized nature unitarism has.

Militant Thunderdomism
Every conflict between two people must be resolved in Thunderdome. Whoever refuses will be shot.

- The whole economy focuses on building and maintaining Thunderdomes and weapons.
- The whole entertainment industry will be Thunderdome fights.
- Health care will only have one mission: taking care of victorious Thunderdomers and their wounds.
- Every professional sports will be replaced by professional Thunderdome fights or Thunderdome variants of the sport. Like people can have car racing but it's car racing in a Thunderdome. Like Mario Cart but with violence and bloodshed.
- All religion will be replaced by the Holy Church of the Thunderdome. Jesus never said "love your neighbour", he said "kick your neighbour's ass and I'll show you how you crucife him, brother!".
- Education system will only be there to teach kids how to thunderdome. Kindergartens will be replaced by Thundergartens.

Obviously Militant Thunderdomism must be a dictatorship. The system needs at least one cool and rational head at the top who overlooks everything. He never can't be challenged to avoid the system crushing down in chaos. He will reign until a certain age or his death.

And because Militant Thunderdomism is my idea I shall be the very first "thunderking" (that's the rank of the dictator).

Monarchy, but at the end of every year the peasants have to rise up and stab their current king to death.
He will then be replaced with a new one, which is chosen through vote, options selected from a collection of the most hated non-criminal members of the lowest class.

Wouldn't a constitutional monarchy be a more accurate assessment of what it would be?
 
This is actually a good topic, but here it'll be mocked as politisperging.
IMO everyone that spends time doing mockery and deconstruction of others online should also forward their own set of values and desires, or their deconstruction should be ignored. Breaking things down is easy, constructing new ones is hard.
As for my own preferred system?
Hard to say. Some sort of ethnic nationalism, with social democracy/classic liberalism for the natives - if they contribute to society. But I don't want some rabid, chauvinistic, petty nationalism, I want things done smart, with regional alliances, super-ethnic collaborative structures (for example based on larger groups, like Slavs, or even larger, like Europeans), proper trade, diplomacy, organizations to maintain peace, law and order, and put down chimpouts. Elites would have to undergo some sort of audit every 4 years let's say, under democratic supervision.
Probably this does not have a name as a political ideology and to implement it nowadays nothing short of a miracle would be necessary.

In an ideal world, I'd like the Central Government of my country to have severely limited powers - proper lolbertarian levels of just providing defence, courts and constitutional redress for citizens. I'd like my country to then be divided into smaller regions, and each city and large town with their own government, so the people in the cities get all the government hand-holding, environmentalism, high tax and bureaucracy they want, and the people in different parts of the rural areas get more of the "fix our roads, collect our bins, and leave us the fuck alone" that they want. Of course that would never happen, and is absolutely impossible since the general populace of my country are glorified potatoes.

My ideal system would be to buy an island, declare it an independent republic, and live there myself. Fuck 'em.
 
Some sort of true, benevolent dictatorship. Fuck bureaucracy and red tape and blah blah.

Obviously it's impossible because humans are shit, but see Lucius Cincinnatus for a somewhat classic example.

Incidentally, I read a lot into the Great Man Theory of history, and just watching the circus that is politics nowadays has turned me into some sort of cynical, weary asshole who just wants someone who don't give a shit to come in and remake everything, which as I said before is pretty impossible because humans, myself included, are dickbags.

I would support such a government, if the requirement was expanded with a math-test. Otherwise low-IQ brown people could end up with voting rights. Math appears to be the perfect negro-repellent, but a requirement to have a job, would probably get you 80% there.

A federal monarchy akin to Imperial Germany (but with some minor tweaks and changes) is about as close to a perfect system as you can get, imo. A good balance of having a strong central authority (the fact that it wasnt democratically elected was a good thing, imo), but with just enough safeguards, representation and local autonomy to keep the Emperor decently "far away" from day-to-day life so to speak.
