Modern Vintage Gamer and LGR are two of my favorites although they've already been mentioned here.

Budget Builds is a britbong who talks about gaming and cheap tech he finds on dodgy Chinese amazon listings and at yard sales/flea markets. He's pretty good.

It's not all chinesium, he buys and tries outdated systems in $current_year then give his opinion on them. Part of the testing is (sometimes) making the video you are watching on a computer he found for £20 or so. It's a good channel and I helped someone in the games forum run Gamecube emulation on a shit laptop by watching his videos.

Mental Outlaw is a pretty great channel imo. He covers things from how things like encryption works, to improving your online privacy, to crypto and linux.

I like Mental Outlaw, he reminds me of older youtube when people made videos about things they were personally into.

Just checking someone mentioned my favourite dick in a vice
Some engineer from Canada who goes into technical engineering detail about all kinds of random shit.

No LTT? You can't forget my man Linus
ah that cherub little midget is indeed forgettable. And pathetic. As is anyone watching the cunt.

I am a massive fan of his work to a point I signed up for Patreon to support him.
How'd you feel when about a month after your post, he decided to quit (was only temporary tho) and rebrand himself as "freethinker"?

I wholeheartedly recommend 65scribe. He does videos on old Apple shit and while I personally have zero nostalgia as I grew up on PC, his presentation is really good and relaxing.

Did 65scribe delete some of his videos?

Techlore is good with a focus on privacy and free and open source software.

They also have a podcast which mostly covers privacy news such as data leaks, hacks, digital tracking, privacy updates, etc.
I recommend if you're curious about digital privacy in any way that you explore their channel, site, and/or playlists. He's had some access to notable people, such as the Calyx Institute founder and CEO, Session's CEO and covers privacy autism, namely GrapheneOS's main guy being a toxic sperg.

Maybe a tranny tbh, but I have learned quite a bit about machine work via this channel and has helped a lot for an absolute 101 tier beginner. I enjoy and recommend their videos.
