What are the length and resolution limits? What's the bitrate after they get posted?

I'm new and I don't know where to find this information. I'm asking because I'm thinking of making a thread with lots of clips I cut from movies over the years. I don't use Youtube.

From what I recall maximum size can't surpass 100mb, no clue about other limitations.

My only tip is that you use spoiler tags per video, spoiler tags being the crossed out eye icon hidden in this menu. Place the video down, then roughly select it and any corresponding text and Spoiler it. Give the spoiler a short name (it will cut off on mobile). Helps keep the OP compact and tidy.

I mean that even if I did have a Youtube account, all those clips would get DMCA'd with the quickness. Also, I have lots of obscure stuff from 80s and 90s DTV movies that can't be found anywhere.

Anyway, time to pick some clips and have some fun.

It's beyond me how gif survived for so long. It was obsolete 15 years ago!
