An introduction to powerscaling:
Power Scaling is a controversial and complex form of media analysis, which usually involves assessing the physical power and abilities of a fictional character through a comparison with another character. These can also be used to compare real world individuals.

Obviously he'd use his father's iconic big magnet to steal all your weapons and armor
But I bet you weren't expecting glorbo to whip out his grandfather's even more iconic and even bigger magnet to counteract plorbo's weak betamale negative canthal tilt magnet

You might've stolen the sword and his father's magnet but you'll never steal his WOODEN GUN
Plorbo and Glorbo would absolutely get demolished by @Cats
@Cats got demolished by Null and is canonically dead, he's not beating anyone

I don't want to seem mean, but alot of this power scaling just has dudes treating there fictional characters like sports teams and completely ignoring the story. It can be fun to discuss if people didn't treat it like a popularity contest, but they do.

You get a lot of that I've noticed, nobody factors in the character of the characters. Let's take the Goku vs Saitama debate. Whether you think Goku is stronger or Saitama is stronger is irrelevant, because Saitama will always grow more powerful when fighting a stronger opponent because he has no maximum to his strength and Goku will always let an opponent reach their max strength. Ergo, Goku will allow Saitama to power up until Saitama can beat him. It's insanity.

Pretty much. No matter who wins, the other character will cease to exist. When death battle had superman win, there strongest argument was that supermans story was about whether or not he was doing the right thing, not whether or not he was the strongest, because ultimately he could physically deal with his foes but not always spiritually. With Goku vs Saitama, Saitama would win, but that's only because Goku losing wouldn't make his character cease to exist.

It’s definitely a unique form of media literacy, as it goes beyond merely indulging in the content itself by having its adherents discuss and debate characters and concepts themselves.

Needless to say, their community is very much toxic and probably harbors a lot of cows as well, though the same can be said for any fandom-related organization.
