Fun game that has well-done 3rd person shooting with mixed in 'QTE' style events via hacking. The setting is a realistic but futuristic sci-fi. Sperging about politics in games seems like a waste of time. If a game is good the politics won't matter.

thanks for your wise words professor donger
You're very welcome Local Hooker

Most of the sperging isn't even about politics it's about degenerates wanting to fuck the robot child.

Is it that weird? Games like this and for example, Last of Us awoken maternal instincts in people and is a safe way to "raise" a child without putting in any effort or risk.
not really no, i've seen simmers and what they can do.
it's still gay as fuck to say "ohmygawd this game changed my lyfe and now i want to do X because of it".
<russianbabble>
from what i can see in videos, the guy didn't even want the kid, ops, android.
but seeing what she can do with the anti-pedo ray dude turned into a "fuck it we ball, this is my daughter now".

Yeah, at the start of the game he talks about how he dislikes clankers.

Then the clanker child helps him kill other clankers.

So he decided she's his kid now.

The gameplay itself seems fine so far but its got a serious case of Metroid Prime 4 where the characters just won't shut the fuck up.

' Enemy nearby, we better be careful! Wow, that enemy looks strong! Jump Hugh! Look out Hugh! I should hack him Hugh! We did it Hugh!'

'Thats the first lock! Thats the second lock! Thats the third lock! Thats the fourth lock, one to go! Thats the fifth lock! Thats all the locks!' - literally this just happened I am not exaggerating she chimes in for every lock while it cuts away to a big door showing the lock symbols, just in case you didn't understand the visual.

'Shelter? I can't go back?! How will I get to my ship?!'

Its so grating. I could forgive the Cute Autism Robot Child moments so far if she ever stopped talking that way about literally anything else. Please, please tell me it gets better and they aren't constantly 'bantering'.

So far they get a little better but not much. Maybe swapping the language to Japanese would make it better but I don't know.

On another note the game seems to be going the anti-automation route

Yeah this continues for the whole game as far as I can tell. I actually liked the banter you hear while just walking around. There were a couple times it grated on me when I went back to the base and she'd repeatedly interact with the same object but other than that not bad. I can forgive the voice lines in combat, there were a couple times I was distracted probably punching in a hack and it helped me.

Honestly I wouldn't mind the 'dodge' or 'jump' prompts/etc.

Its just the coooooonstant barrage of everything else including shit like 'hack that to unlock the door!' before it does a cut away showing the door unlock and then 'we did it, we unlocked the door!'

One of those would be enough even if by the fifth door lock in one room it feels pretty obvious.

It might be because I've started filtering it out but the "hack this item" verbal stuff has died down a bit for me, but I could have not been paying too much attention to that. I'll have to get back to you on that once I play more.

the little bitch constantly yapping was one of my biggest fears. Game looks pretty good otherwise, ima give it a download.

Finally had the time to play for myself a bit. Game is great so far. Capcom clearly spent a lot of time getting the dynamic between Hugh and Diana right. In general, they spent a lot of time making sure her mannerisms are endearing. Drawing or playing with stuff, running around in the Shelter and bumping clumsily into you when you stand in her way. And I am sure will come into play when the inevitable emotional gut punch happens.

The yapping as far as I am concerned isn't grating at all. She's a kid, she talks a lot and I think it was a good choice that she and Hugh are more upbeat.

Lots of nice details with the characters and in general how the game is presented. Different starting screens, Model viewer is built in and not something you have to pay for or and external file. Lots of attention to detail for the animation for example Diana claps for you when you upgrade your gun.

Otherwise, as was already the case with the demo the game runs exceptionally well. Its commendable that Capcom spent time making sure this runs well. I've got a Ryzen 7 5800x and a RTX 3060 TI, almost all settings are on Max or high. Lots of settings for everything in general. There is even a preset for different regional keyboards

Game looks pretty fun, shame I probably can't run it. Might pick it up when it's actually cracked.
I dread to think what the mods for this game will be like once people figure out how to get those done. If you don't remember what kind of mods Sherry got in RE2R, consider yourself lucky, I saw that shit spammed on 8/v/ and it was vile.
Speaking of which, is this yet another RE Engine game? Sure looks like it. This has become to Capcom what Gamebryo is to Bethesda.

Yeah the faggots running Capcom Twitch should know what this shit means. I'm not buying this game until it's $20 or less. Capcom gets enough money from me because I'm such a dupe for Resident Evil and Street Fighter.

From what I've heard, the game has been cracked so you could just pirate it.

The system requirements aren't too bad, and there is a demo that you can use to test to see if you can run the game or not.

Yeah, it's an RE Engine game, but it runs surprisingly well. I'm running everything maxed out and rarely drop below 80 fps, and my computer isn't the best. I think they either managed to figure out some of the RE Engine kinks with this game or it just benefits from their being pretty much no NPC's to shit up the map like Monster Hunter and Dragons Dogma had to deal with. From what I heard Resident Evil Requiem also ran really well.
