So I've recently been reading through the mailbags and I came across something I seem to have missed before

"I believe a vaccine is most capable to change their mental status; my prescription has Definitely lowered my stress levels. I should know, I recently went ONE MONTH without it, and the stress LITERALLY ALMOST KILLED ME; it HURT WORSE in comparison to being on it; I went back on it, and I still take it with appreciation for it's good work on keeping me more capable on emotionally coping with stress."

It is probably discussed elsewhere but I cant find it so I thought I'd ask the experts, what exactly is the prescription chris was on? I always thought he wasn't on any treatment for the autism?

Oh God, it's on the CWCki somewhere, he's on some anti-depressant for his "stress", it might be Zoloft. No idea if he's still on it.

It's some sort of anti-depressant, and his dose was increased after he was kicked out of PVCC. It actually might be to treat his autism because a doctor asked me recently if I had ever been treated for my ass burgers with anti-depressants. Maybe it helps moderate the size of mood swings (specifically tard rages) or something.

It's Paxil. I was on it as well for similar reasons (but chimping out in remedial elementary summer school classes, not college)

There really isn't a medical way to treat autism. The only thing that helps is self-awareness/reflection and various types of therapy.

And specific diets absolutely do not help either. At least not when you're anywhere above the age of 15.

correct me if i am wrong, but aren't vaccines what gave him autism in the first place?

No, no. You get Autism from sitting on nasty toilet seats. Or is that crabs? Either way the doctor gives you this special shampoo and a week later it's cleared up.

Maybe it was Adavan

Or Valium

He's been under a lot of stress lately.

It was an antidepressant, and it could have been for a number of reasons.

We know he's been depressed for a long time. If he was then as well, it'd be a no-brainer that he'd get on it.

SSRIs like paxil and zoloft are also often used as anti-anxiety drugs for general or social anxiety, and for panic disorders.

I'm not even sure Chris really understands what stress is, considering his perspective on the world is so skewed, even the slightest misfortune causes him :briefs: . I tend to think of "stress", in Chris's mind, of being something he can use to excuse his behavior to people who don't accept the Autism card.

Ha, like Chris knows what vaccines are as compared to any other type of medication.

No, and you need to stop paying attention to Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy.

He got autism from his father's tainted seed and his mother's rancid womb.

Isn't Paxil used to treat bipolar? Nonetheless, anxiety/depression/bipolar/whatever the hell Chris has can't be treated by drugs alone. Therapy needs to happen too.

Chris: Uhhh, yep, I mean, they... Yeah, McGovern, they prescribed for me- Actually no, not McGoveren, original prescriber, it was like a doctor, this happened like, I don't know, in 1990-something. I was prescribed Paxil for stress... For stress problems, you know, keeping my stress down, whatever, but then I got upgraded- And then that went- And then Paxil went out- went out of date, and so I had to be switched to Paroxetine. Uh, but basically I- I was actually- Basically after- During the whole time I took- I took Paxil and Paroxetine, I never actually saw any emotional difference. Or, uh, like I mean you know, I felt- I mean, I still felt STRESS. And uh, all that- and all that stuff, it's- I- And then- Yeah, I recently- And I recently stopped taking the Paroxetine about a month ago, I mean, and then I felt- and then I- and then I fe- I still felt a little difference other than the fact like you know, I'm definitely feeling more CONFIDENT.

Fun fact- doing research on this (because I don't use antidepressants myself), Paxil is just the brand name of Paroxetine.
