I like the site because I like catty girls but I wouldn't participate there because they're just way too mean. And that's compared to us.

The latest gossip there is that some moderator entered in her red days, I wouldn't survive a day there.
 
The site is ok at its best. I always found it pretty dead since general threads are quite inactive.
The users tend to blog waaay too much. One of them will compare a sonwflakes eyebrows to her own telling everyone how she does it and suddenly you have a dozen of others detailing you their eyebrow routine

But i like how they put effort into translating things especially for cosplay cows, so they cant hide behind language barriers.

It's a site to check every month or so.

I'm speaking as a dude, of course, so when I do my pass over mean girl Internet it usually includes PULL and lolcow.farm and maybe /cgl/ if something is happening.

I'm a Japan/anime fan intermediate Japanese learning girl so you'd think I'd fit in, but like I said in my previous post, they just try too hard to be mean about everyone like the bitches at school. Maybe I'm too old? They're right in some cases but they'll just hate on other people like Rachel from Rachel and Jun/Grace/Mimei/Micaela who are like...obviously not perfect and they're weeaboos because they're living in Japan and fucking Japanese dudes, but there's nothing lolcow about them. They try too hard to find flaws there and it's really obnoxious. I tried to get into that forum but anything outside the Mira/Margaret Pomerlo threads were just nope.

Eh, used to check more often before one of the snowflakes I followed became partially inactive (with the speculation being that she was incarcerated). I thought of making a thread here on her for a while but she went inactive.

Besides what has already been said I think PULL has its fair share of minor internal snowflakes and cows. Every once in a while you'd come across a poster who'd get all triggered and chimp out about various things... And the people tend to react to it by either appeasement or striking back. It's a nice sideshow for lols amongst the tryharding and mild PC culture.

Come to think of it, are there any web communities out there that are majority Women like PULL or lolcow.farm or the like, that focus on not taking other girls down a peg? All I can think of is Fashion/Beauty Forum/Swap/Market sites.

Hah, not that I know of. I went on Guru Gossip a few times but it's even worst than PULL. I tend to stick to the small pockets of not fucking insane snowflakes fandom on Tumblr or otherwise Reddit, here or 420chan. That's about it. (Sorry if powerlevel)

:powerlevel:? I made the move over here when PULL was at risk of getting shut down, that and I had just discovered chris which was a fucking trip let me tell you. There was a lot of information here to process about one single Lesbian Soul.
But truth be told I like the atmosphere here best of most sites, it feels more relaxed honestly. You can get away with shitposting and being quote on quote offensive without everyone losing their shit. I've found a lot of great community on here, lots of respectable and knowledgeable people that just so happen to be morbidly curious of hot messes that fuck around on the internet for all to see.

I'm a fairly new PULL user, so I can't comment on how things were a year or two ago. For the most part things seem fine, but there do seem to be a fair share of snowflakes. Which I initially found rather ironic, but then I realized there were more than I had expected, and now I just try to ignore them.

They seem like snowflakes who wear helmets and have calloused hands. More likely to say "Well, I disagree" than they are to call the FBI with fake bomb threats on themselves or claim they were driven out of their homes.

GOMI is one of the worst designed forums on the internet. Autist layout yet bloated and slow at the same time. It's like the front page of the Washington Post without all the Trump sperging.
